Not saying DC needs help, because DC is awesome, but I just think he is quite good in this free video.

I have a whole bunch of content saved for next season - so baring the guys like my steez I should have a few HU videos next season

What happened to all the Ghost vids from before? I really enjoyed the Ghost jfish, Terp, tubasteve, etc vids.

You guys' series are top notch but a ghost vid every now and then would be great too.

Thanks for the suggestion -- I'll pass it on to our coaches and see if we can bump up the Ghost content. That said, we'll have quite a bit of 6m content next season, so things are definitely looking good in that arena.

i realized that stars nl400 is actually the most aggro lvl of all levels, 3bet is rampant, could you guys make some vids on how to adjust to those crazy 3bettors who would 3bet u like there's no tmr on the button and from blinds...

I strongly disagree with this:
Quote:
-Tell Riverboatking and DJ Sensei to stop being losers
-Less hippy/too cool for school Krantz spew (it's fine to be jolly and stuff but it seems like you play a different and "carefree/spewtastic" style in certain videos)
If someone does something that is just plain stupid, I would like to have it pointed out. There is a pretty big difference between how i remember "wow, what he did there was just dumb" and "hmm, that was an unconventional play, and I would not recommend it".

I would also be severely disappointed if you were to stop making jokes. I dislike being bored.

my baby steps series has 2 live play videos which for all intents and purposes are the same as ghost vids, check em out! also ep 4 came out today in which i review my 25NL and 50NL sessions from ep 1/2.

I've registered, but haven't signed up for the 6month subscription yet because of a couple of questions.

I'm primarily a non holdem player at the moment and am curious whether more non holdem content(IE, O8,Stud's, Mixed Game) will be added? I saw a total of 5 O8 vid's.

I'm also really interested in getting back to HE again and realize I royally suck now. It sounds like the FWF series and a few others will be beneficial. My second question came from watching the free Dogishead HU video, which was great BTW. In it, he seemed to be running extremely well, with no real difficult situations. Are most of the vids more polished like this(meaning when everything is going well) or are there some where the player is not running well and really having to battle?

Thanks

There's a pretty fair mix of content. Next season Chuck and Joe (who are both playing in the 50k HORSE event right now) are doing a series called "All Mixed Up" which will feature lots of mixed games, like a continuation of From a Donk to a Stud but more advanced. I'd definitely recommend checking that series out as well. We have pretty much all stakes of NLHE, a few LHE series, a mixed game series and a PLO series coming out starting next week and plenty more stuff in the backend for you to choose.

As far as instructors running good or bad, there are plenty of spots where our instructors run horribly and post the session (check out Jay's HU sesh vs. Erik Liu), and those sessions always seem to have great analysis because there are usually so many tough/tricky spots.

I tried watching the odds/math series, but I found it pretty hard to watch. It went very slow, a lot of extremely obvious stuff was covered for way too long, and whoever made them committed the cardinal sin in power point presentation - just reading from the slides. Yes, he added additional explanation after that usually, but reading from the slides is extremely boring, and not really helpful. It would be nice if this was released as just a powerpoint that could be downloaded, or if the presenter went a little faster.

obvious isnt obvious to everyone, remember we're catering to all skill levels and with math, you have to start at the beginning or the later stuff won't make any sense. maybe try starting in the later episodes of the math series if the early ones arent advanced enough.

Any plans for some more HS PLO and cap PLO after the mad potters series. I'd love to see some more.

I may come off as a flamboyant fanboy here, but I think the majority of the text on those slides are helpfull. I knew about 80% of what was covered in the series, but for the parts that I wasn't familiar with, it would have taken me forever to grasp what was going on without being able to pause the video and try out the things that were covered while using the descriptions on the powerpoint slides to keep track of things..

Its not that it wasn't helpful, it was just really slow going, and the fact that he just read off the slides makes it a lot more boring. I am liking a lot of the other stuff on the site, but I think that when they do videos with PowerPoints in them, they should not read what the slides say; instead, if they talk about the major points on the slides, it is a lot more interesting.

MORE TOOL TIME videos....

1. using HM to plug leaks in your game (i.e., analyze your play)

2. using HM to analyze the play of other players (& develop counterstrategies)

plus i'd suggest that you post the discount that DC members get for purchasing HM in this forum and/or on the DC home page.

These are all pretty solid ideas. I've been wanting to do some more tool times but lately haven't had the time (pun not intended), but I'll try to work in some when I get back from Vegas. I really really think HEM is a pretty sick tool (if it isn't obvious) so I'll work on some ideas that I have and try to formalize the ideas.

As far as posting the discount here, that's also a pretty good idea.

More FWF, more ducks, more krantz, and pair emil with someone. Preferably BLD. Wisdom and Dear FWF are your best series imo.

You also might considering emailing DC members about this. If you just click through to watch the videos, you could easily miss this and buy HEM at full price (like i just did ).

I apologize in advance if this isn't the right place for suggestions, but more nl holdem stuff plz. The lack of tubasteve 100nl vids makes me sad. Also, I would love to a dogishead series. I really like his videos.

HEM Discount: A sticky in this forum and something at the top of and/or side of the dc website for the hem discount would get attention.
