86. I haven't added up my putts, but they were probably lower than usual b/c I was on the stupid fringe on pretty much every hole. Tough pins & got a little tired, thus the mediocre score.

had a couple of one and 3 unders in scrambles recently. ball striking is terrible, although put a couple very close. but most were way off... putting is good. otherwise, i think my teams would have thrown me overboard.

today, i shot 86 (42-44) on a track with a very tough front nine... driving is terrible. contact point all over the place. although it tends to go very short, but at least straight. ball striking from 160 yards in is coming around. putting, chipping and pitching were gold today......... now, if only i can get my long distance ball striking together. i see a small chance of breaking 80 in the not-too-distant. that's a BIG IF,and of course, the short game stuff can deteriorate (although i've been practicing it like crazy)

same story today as the rest of the week...a bunch of crap everywhere but enough solid putting to keep my round respectable.

i came into the final 3 holes needing to par out to break 90, par 16/17, drive into right rough on 18 and skulled my approach shot into the water for a double. f--- pressure.

Ten over par but 4 pars very unhappy to lose a ball off the tee and to top a tee shot but 4 pars from nine holes is good for me so I’m not sure what to feel.

Played with some fobby ****s who actually pocketed my ball on two holes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (1 I'm positive of - the other was lost in the fairway and disappeared when I took the long way around some shrubs to look for another ball).

My worst round in 4 years since I was 12.

I played a course with my dad and his friends since he got some new clubs and will get back into the golf world.

I havnt played in 3 weeks, and started off like i never golfed in my life. I couldnt drive for ****, i was hookin every single drive.. Couldnt putt, couldnt hit irons, nothing. The course wasnt that nice at all. Fairways were just bad, and greens were all diff. speeds.

shot a 92 (48) (44) and my handicap is ~7. On a 350 yrd. par4, i was 100 out, whip out my new sand wedge (cg12) w/ zip grooves i bought the day4, since I already had a cg10.. anyways 100 out, knock it to 2 feet, and miss putt.

i started the day off 8 over through the first three holes despite hitting the middle of each of the fairways.

i ended up hitting 10/14 fairways today (2 were bad shots tho) and putting together 3 birdies on the day to save the round. i basically missed every approach shot on the day except on the par 5's.

61-60 (121) from the whites on a par 70 (i wanted to play reds, but he said to play whites). it was nearly dark when we finished tho so last couple holes coulda went better

Stoneridge GC, West Bend, WI ... worst course I've ever played. The greens were 1/2 dead. The dead parts were all sand basically. At least you didn't have to worry about not being able to stop your ball. You'd see a splash of sand or an ant hill exploding (hard to tell one from the other). The greens also had deep cracks large enough to steal your golf ball from being so terribly dry. Fairways were 1/2 weeds. Good luck finding a yardage marker. Farmer course, basically. (You could actually hear cows mooing the entire round.) Not worth the price (free for me).

Edit: O, shot 78 with 3 birdies.

99 from blues on high-end course with ridiculously fast greens and punched sandy fairways.... started out even for first 4 holes, then six-under next two holes and it was over. what were the culprits on those two holes? chunked pitch, ridiculous green, then sculled wedge in hazard...

played nine after a 4week layoff. Some bright spots but also some areas where I lost touch. Putting seems to be consistent. Chipping is slowly improving. I am working on my posture, but sliced my driver like 4 times straight before finally leaving it in the bag. Still shot a 46 or so. Probly close to 20 putts but I didn't keep the scorecard.

unfortunately i hit 5 3 putts on the day and could not capitalize on any of my gir's.

i also ended the day with a f-ing snowman on 18.

96 on a very tricked-up and tight course in the pouring rain....... amazing iron play. driving is horrible. short game not so great. basically way too many penalty strokes, but very tight course.

45-41 86 (34) at Kokopelli in Gilbert AZ

Pretty good round for me. I hit 9/18 GIR which is way above average for me; finally starting to dial in my new irons. Putting was bad but not horrible. Only 1 put two greens and only one was a birdie try, but nothing >15 ft really had a chance though no 3 putts. Really just 3 bad holes. Took a 10 on the par 5 8th with 3 balls in the water; just completely terrible. Also took two doubles on the back. The first I pulled a drive slightly into the water. I could've saved it because it didn't really cost me much distance and I can reach the par 5 in 2. Put my 3rd ~20 yds right of the green and 2-chip/2-putted. The very next hole another 2-chip/2-putt because I put my 80 yd approach 20 yds over the green behind a tree. Then lipped out an 8 footer for birdie on 18.

I REALLY want to play golf but I can't b/c I sprained my ankle really bad a week and a half ago. I am going to get dressed and put on my golf clothes and tape up my ankle and go attempt a golf swing at least today. This SUCKS. I am almost to the point where I will go out and just douche it up the fairway 100 yards every time just so I can be "playing golf."

played probably the toughest public course within 40 miles of Los Angeles, Robinson Ranch(Valley). I had been scoring in the high 80s/mid 90s on the munis around town, but this course destroyed me and I shot 100(46-54), with 39 putts. Front 9 was all fine and dandy then started sending balls OB(including the 13th where I hit two OB from the tee and made triple) Ugh.

Beautiful course though. Got a deal for $59 green fee w/ cart.

Played in a scramble today at Talking Rock outside of Prescott, the fourth course I've played in Northern Arizona in the last few weeks. It's a moderately interesting course - the front nine is annoying and bland, the back nine is great - and we won easily. This is one of many private courses in the state that I've heard are having trouble meeting their membership goals. In this case it is way out in the sticks, nowhere near shopping or dining on a road to nowhere. It can't be attractive to anyone who isn't retired or has any sort of social life. And the homes they've built are no great shakes and are really close together, although substantial swaths of the course are blessedly free of these shacks. As was the case the previous times I was there it was in fantastic shape and I recommend that everyone play it if they can.

left. I probably need to do this. It seems like right when I get towards the top of my backswing, whichever ligament is torn in half is completely isolated. I really think I am going to go practice because I am sick of doing nothing. I have such a hard time having the patience to go to the golf course with 0 intention of playing.

2 doubles, 6 pars and 10 bogeys. Blew a 3-foot par put on 11 and had a whole slew of 10-15 footers that just slid by. Chipped well, drove well. No real complaints. Best of the year on a tough course (71.3/130 from the Blues).

had three 3-putts on the day and missed quite a few approach shots, luckily my chipping kept me inline today.

played another nine today. 51 with 18 putts (3 1-putts, 3 3-putts). one birdie, but also three ugly holes (8, 7, 7 - all triples).

not sure what exactly is wrong. a couple of stupid penalties. a couple of approach shots hit waaay fat, a couple chips sent on the other side of the green.

my swing is in a state of flux. i am working on my posture during the swing (as suggested by the resident pros here), which has some great results (2 approach shots stuck to 5 feet, a few more shots that just went straight as an arrow), but also i am mis-hitting it more often for now and my back feels tired towards the end of the round. the good news is that i feel my right side staying still, and a great feeling of the coil in my hips and torso. a few more practice sessions before i get the hang of it.
