4 Birdies - 8 Pars - 5 Bogeys - 1 Quad

Today went well, front 9 I went round in 4 over with 2 birdies. On the 6th I had a quad and literally just hacking it up on the left side of the hole in the thick rough.

Back 9 I only really made 1 bad mistake and that was on 17 where I duffed a chip. Made it back with a birdie on 18.

My putting was solid today, 30 putts in total with 6 one putts and 0 Three putts.

I also played the Par 5's (3 in total) in -1 which is decent for me.

1 Highlight I do remember is on 9 I drove it into the greenside bunker off the tee and then played a awesome bunker shot and had less than a foot for birdie.

I'm also going to add this is a really easy course so shooting a decent score is doable but you still have to do it.

Glad to see a lot of golf being played. Even better to see some good golf being played!

38 (par 35). 1 birdie, no double bogeys. Had a couple good chips and several made putts. Actually felt good around the greens for once. Ball striking decent too.

35-41-76 (par 68)

Even through 8, **** after that.

Monthly stag: 41-42 = 83

Another where I felt I played way better than my score. I REALLY have to get rid of blow-up holes. Three doubles. I'm hitting the ball really well but need to get rid of mental mistakes. At least five times I hit it exactly how I wanted to and either his short or long.

Club Championship this weekend and I haven't decided if I'm going to play, mainly because I'm in the category that hits from the tips, lol. As an 11 I'm obviously playing for net every time, and from the tournament blacks I'm a 14, but I'm not sure that's enough extra strokes to make up for a 5-wood or 3-wood into most par 4s.

43-38-81

Complete garbage. Swing was bad (of course coming off of a great range session yesterday). Could not get off of the tee very well on the front. I have no idea how but I managed to make 7 straight pars on the back.

Never has anyone lived up to an excellent range session the day before a round, I swear.

The best range session I have ever had was warming up for round 3 of golf channel am tour nationals. I was so on that I was dropping them into the little landing hoops and nets from 70 yards out. I shot 86 that day.

2 birdies, 3 bogeys

Tipped it out today at 6616y 73.0/147 (0.0 diff). Starting to get really comfortable back there. Will be back in the 2s on the handicap for the first time since January.

Very nice. I've decided I WILL play the club championship and embarrass myself, and those tees are 6550. And here you are playing those by choice....

42-45-87. No birdies, 4 double bogeys. 73.0/142/6700 yards.

Was just gassed down the stretch. Long week, super humid day, no sign of the cart girl after the turn. Actually played decently up to that point, a couple poor chips and the inability to read any putt correctly made scoring a challenge. Driver went completely AWOL at the end and that's annoying.

40-43-83

1 birdie, I think 4 doubles

...and back to reality. Lipped out the eagle putt on #1. My don't give a ****-o-meter went off on 15 and hung on for the rest of the round.

Club Championship. 42-43 = 85. Net 72.

Played from the tips, and just proved to me how much my lack of distance hurts me. There were four par 4s I couldn't reach in two. I played really well, and still shot mid 80s. Missed four 5 footers I usually make, and two doubles on the back that were dumb.

Aw well. All I wanted to do was avoid embarrassing myself, so I'll take it.

41-42-83. No birdies, 2 double bogeys. 70.8/134/6325 yards

Ugh. Five three putts and two holes with two chips. Ball striking was pretty good if not great. It wouldn't have taken much to be in the seventies.

39-38-77 par 72
2 bogeys, 2 doubles, 1 birdie. Lots and lots of pars. A double from 105 out in the middle of the fairway on #1 was a bit of a buzz kill to start the round.

+7 over 9 holes, Putting it down to lack of playing. Need some more friends that play more lol

40-40 80 (8.5 diff) 7 fairways, 12 greens, 36 putts

7 bogies, a double and a birdie

Decent round nothing awful and nothing spectacular. Had a lot of 12-30 foot birdie putts and only one dropped

Niagara Frontier, 69.6/124/6178 yards, par 71.

I get 24 strokes on this course.

Front 9 I shoot a 41 for a neat net 29. Oh it's a good day.

Back 9 was epic. An f'in 54.

3 birdies, 3 doubles

Hot AF out and started getting a stomach ache on the 13th hole. Playing partner threw me an apple to eat and hung in there the rest of the way. Sucked down a gatorade in about 4 seconds as soon as I hit the clubhouse.

Club Championship Day 2. 44-42 = 86, net 73.

Played pretty well, but three doubles and a triple hurt.

Seven bogeys on the front, seven pars on the back. Go figure. Short game is improving some, let's see how long I can remember to turn through on the pitches.

Seem to finally be coming around off the tee. 73-71 over the weekend

An odd day to say the least. 3 of the birdies were of the 2-putt variety.

42 (par 36). No birdies, 2 double bogeys.

Really lucky that a front went through just before we teed off, more wind and slightly lower heat and humidity was just what I needed.
