Sweet!

Think I´ve been really mediocre after my best times at range, so really bad considering. Last time when did manage to keep it to the course was a pleasant surprise.

LOL you have no idea what you're talking about. I have gone there the first week in January for the past eight years and guessing I've played 40+ rounds. Honestly think I've been rained on a total of three or four rounds, and I finished all four rounds last year wearing shorts.
A bed and a round of golf for under $200...practically free and I'm glad I won't have to see you there.

Average high in the low 50s and about a third of an inch of precipitation per day. Congrats on running good but you're due for a downswing.

You've never been there, have you? Do you know when that rain typically happens in early January? At night or early morning before the rounds start.

one of the guys I go with grew up in Coos county and played the original course 40 times the first year it opened. He's played at least 400 rounds at the five courses, and he insists on going the first week of January.
...but I'm sure he's just been running hot for the lifetime of the resort.

nicer weather has completely creeped north to all of california........ i'm guessing it might not have made to bandon as much as it's other side of the mountains.

i'm assuming bandon has much better weather than seattle or vancouver, canada, where i'd agree that january weather is only good for keeping game in shape, if that............

Sounds pretty fantastic to me, where do I sign up? I don't mind anything down to around 40 as long as it isn't real windy. Plus at Bandon you're walking, so it's just a matter of having the right layers.

I played on Christmas Day last year, it's not looking promising for this year considering that it's going to be below zero tonight, no warm weather in the forecast.

A smooth 89 on Wednesday, 5 doubles, 6 pars, rest bogeys. It was so bad that I was missing greens from 95 yards in the middle of the fairway. Air was so thick that I was adding 2 clubs to most shots, and still not getting there.

84 yesterday, 4 doubles, 4 bogeys, 10 pars. Highlight I guess would be 3 sand saves. Bunkers are in perfect condition right now. Crisp sand that is not deep at all, very consistent.

My 2017 goal is to get my handicap down below 18. Currently 25, been down to 24 but was on 36 as recently as late April

Pretty much everything worked. I really could have gone low today. Lipped out a putt that was left-center of the hole for par on the 2nd. Lipped out for par that was right-center for par on the 5th. That one I understand as it was moving when it hit the hole. 9th I lipped out for birdie from about 30 feet.
