Fk yeah! Nice round!

2 over through 8 until I bogeyed a par 5 on the 9th for a 39...okay, now it's time to break 80!

Until I double-bogeyed 4 of 5 holes on the back nine. Ugh.

18th hole was interesting, though. It's a 535 yd. par 5 that rises off the tee until a crest about 235 yds away...then it rolls severely downhill towards the pin. So if you hit it far enough, it will roll and roll and roll.

First drive - I actually topped the damn ball right into the water in front of the green. Haven't done that in awhile.

Hit my 2nd drive great and I only had 209 to the pin. Laying 3. there's a chasm you have to carry in front of the green, so I hit a hybrid perfectly and the ball landed and rolled to the back, about 15 feet from the pin. Laying 4.

Sunk the putt for a 5.

So finished 39-45-84.

What a waste of 3 great shots, though!

The old eagle par, very nice. One of my teammates did that in high school. He hit the first OB.

37 (par 35). No birdies, no double bogeys.

That's more like it. Hit the prettiest fade ever on a dogleg right, wish I could bottle that swing and break it out on demand. Greens were notably shaggy and bumpy but I still putted decently.

43-44 - 87. On a tougher course, but damp greens so they were not as brutal as usually. No shanks Couple of badly topped drives though. One guy in our group hit a 16 (ish) on par-5, mostly just trying to get out of unplayable spot but still pretty determined not to pocket it. 4th hole and had some strokeplay bet and we were waiting anyways but yeah.

35-39-74. 6 birdies.

Even par going into 18 and I yank my drive into hazard, am forced to lay up to 100 yards, push my approach shot into bunker and then 2 putt for triple bogey. Solid.

Also missed two 3 footers by a mile. My make percentage is much higher from 5 feet.

Really looking forward to starting to get some aggregate stats on game golf when it arrives this week.

6 is my record for a round, including 4 in a row. Did it way back in a high school tournament. Was -1 through 12. Shot +7.

45-48--93 for me today. Has one good three hole stretch where I had birdie putts of 12, 20 and 25 feet, missed em all but made par on all three.

Sailed through the 6th hole then had to wait on every single shot after that. Round took 4:30 which is my longest round of the year. Considering we played the first 6 holes on about 45 minutes, it was painful. Swing went to **** once I started waiting.

My round today was about 3:05 in a threesome... so much easier to keep the flow going!

No official score, but "+3" for "nine". Went out solo this evening. Nobody on the first three holes, got to #4 and the course is packed. Played two balls for the next three holes so I had nine scores and quit. Hit the ball real solid the first five holes, swing completely fell apart on the last. Wish I understood it better.

46-43-89

Last 2 rounds were in the high 90s so definite improvement.

Weird round, all bogeys on the front 9, except for one double. Did not strike the ball well at all. Most of the bogeys were saved by making putts. One was a shot from the greenside bunker that caught a slope and rolled into the cup.

Started the back 9 with 4 straight pars, was swinging a lot better. Had a chance for my best 9-hole score, but tripled the last hole.

The good: chipping, putting
The bad: still not hitting my irons very solidly.

best low net tourny. we ( wife and i) scored 45 stableford. finished second. i dropped five birdies. earned favours won a pair of socks ?!

four matches this week. striking the ball well, putting and chipping better than ever. feel like i'll shoot in the 70's from here out. cap has dropped 4 strokes in the last three weeks.

38-39-77. 3 birdies, no double bogeys. 8/13 fairways, 9/18 greens, 30 putts.

Not too many awful shots, though I did yip a chip late in the round. I'll take it.

38 points stableford - started out 1-1 and had another 1 on the 7th but turned in 17. Made 14 points in the next 5 holes and 21 on the back 9 with a blob on the 16th to win the small tournament with 38 and a handicap cut.

86 today. i think i had as many double bogeys today as i had birdies yesterday

46-42 88 in a tournament Satuday

9 pars, 1 birdie, 3 doubles and 3 triples. Weirdly inconsistent within rounds right now...

6 fairways, 9 greens in regulation, 36 putts

Played with 3 friends on the weekend that are much stronger than me; all about 2-3 handicaps and we moved back a set of tees than I'm used to. 6,800 yards, 142 slope. I'm not the biggest hitter so this is a tough test for me.

I ended up shooting 82 which I was over the moon with. Hit a lot of good drives, and my short game was on point. One of the highlight holes is 460 par 4, dogleg right. I snap hook one left and have 250 front out of the rough. I hit my 4 wood to 1 yard short of the green and got up and down for par. It felt like I birdied the hole.

Got my Game Golf today and it absolutely sucks donkey diq. The maps for my course don't let you zoom in past a point that is too far to edit shots properly and everything is consistently off by several yards to the east. Fairways, GIR, sand saves, and basically everything else is meaningless since the dumb thing doesn't work.

Game Golf has me at 5 of 13 fairways though I actually hit 8. A lot of the ones it got wrong weren't even close to the rough. Annoying.

38 (par 35). 2 birdies, 1 double bogey.

Slam dunked one on a par 3 but it didn't stay in the cup. Had to work for my par. Some day.

Do you think it's just your course or is it something else?

For my course, the satellite image they use isn't high enough resolution and it appears not to be properly placed, so it shouldn't be a problem for courses with better/properly calibrated imagery.


36-37-73 today. Was trying out a friend's 3 wood (Titleist 915F) and smacked a nice draw 250 into the wind to 10 feet and made the putt for eagle. Now I have to go buy one.

1 birdie, 11 pars, 6 bogeys

12/14 fairways, 10/18 greens 32 putts

Greens were punched a little over 2 weeks ago and are still pretty bad. The lone birdie I made was on a putt that should have never gone in. Made up for several 15-25 foot birdie putts that I had that bounced away.

Highlight of the round was a 176y 7 iron hard off the flagstick. Lucky to stay 10 feet away but the putt lol bounced away.

42-42-84 at Bear's Best

Meh round. Didn't really play very well. Two doubles, a lot of bogeys, and some pars. Never really sniffed a birdie.

Can't complain...haven't been practicing at all for the past month - just playing.

Can't believe I missed that. Well done sir. Oh, and the 5 birdies is solid, too.

So the local course is a 27 hole layout. I play there about twice a week after work.

Today after 4 holes I look for my phone to start playing some music and of course it's not there. After a few minutes of driving around asking other groups it's nowhere to be found. Went back to the kids in the cart cleaning area and nothing. We then retraced our cart travels and found my phone near the water cooler of the 3rd tee.

Since it's all you can play and we let a bunch of groups pass we moved to another 9. I ended up shooting my lowest 9 of the year since I was so relaxed after learning I didn't have to deal with the stress of losing this damn thing. But what could have been...

Golf- ended up with 3 pars.2 birdies, 3 bogeys, and a 8. (easy par 5 that I've never had more than an 8 on playing the last 10+ times).

So 4 over. So close to hitting a 39.

My short game is atrocious.
