I'm such a short hitter that if I did that I couldn't reach quite a few of the par 4s in two shots. I do that when desperate or when the situation calls for it, but b/c of lack of distance it's not a regular thing.

I keep meaning to buy impact tape, since I'm lazy and I have dry erase markers I think I'll try this instead, thanks.
Played much better today. 38-39-77 at home. 1 birdie, 1 double bogey. 9/13 fairways (with only one moonball, on that one I even got ~ 200 yards, too bad it was also a huge hook and I had to punch out of the woods), 8/18 greens. Main difference was I had a bunch of successful up and downs - 1 putts today instead of the 3 putts I had yesterday.
