Luckbox was fully engaged for most of the round, but I'm giving none of it back.

mumble mumble that was the worst part of the round, actually. Made one 12 footer, missed a 6 and a 4 footer on the back. (#14 was basically a three putt from the fringe.)

It IS amazing how much easier the game is when you're hitting 9 irons into greens instead of 5 irons though.

Got to play a comp tomorrow I'm hoping I play well or just average, but I havent played in a while ... also I have to play at 8am because I have to stuff to do later in the day, So I can't really warm up either (I'm not a morning person)...Anyway I just need to come in the top 10 to get some order of merit points which I'm leading marginally though.

Would be nice to win something other than the weekly medals and stablefords. I've come 2nd in two of the big comps at my club. Lost 1 to count back and the other guy netted a 54 like 10 under his handicap lolz. This year has been pretty good for golfing I was a 26 I think at the start of the year now down to 12.8 so I'm pretty happy. Want to push for single figures now, I think I'm going to try and get longer as I don't hit the ball very far.

drinking heavily at the turn didn't pay off

Played four ball better ball and drew going into the last one up. Picked up on two holes to keep the pace of play up but would have shot about 92. A recent lesson had a strange impact on my game my good shots where better then normal and my driving much improved but when my timing was off the results were horrible worm burners. Putting was much better today and chipping and pitching was better although I still had a couple of flubs.
For the front nine were I holed out everything I had 45.

played 27 yesterday, 45-45-43 (front back front). Nothing special, nothing terrible. Everything between 3 and 6, hit some greens, pretty uneventful.

Awful with my irons on the range. Then, on #1, I'm about 150 out, back left pin, wind against me. Aim toward the center of the green because the pin is guarded by a bunker. Perfect shot, ends up dead center of the green, lag it to 2 feet, par. Golf is so weird. Two holes later, I hit a 9-iron inside of 15 feet. Unfortunately those were the only real highlights. Putting was not good, partly due to having some longer putts after more GIR than usual; but I also missed a bunch of 3-5 footers. Had a couple of blow-up holes on the back that really hurt. The most frustrating hole was a par-5. Nice drive about 255, just missed the fairway. Lay-up with a 7-iron just short of the water in front of the green, leaving about 60 yards. Chunk my wedge into the water. FML.

37-42-79. 1 birdie, no doubles. Nobody else showed up to play today (it was in the mid 40s with on and off sprinkles) so I went out by myself.

Ball striking was a little better. I think I've been getting the club head out ahead of my hands (however you want to describe the exact opposite of lag). Better wrist action today. It's still not real good but it was much more consistent.

I did have one LOL moment. On the easiest hole on the course (short par 5 and the tees were way up) I pushed my drive into the trees on the right. I had a huge alley and figured no problem to punch a hybrid down by the green. Instead I hit it right on the toe, pushed it into a tree just in front of where I was standing and had the ball ricochet past me and into the fairway a good 100 yards back. I went from being 200 out to being 300 out but at least it was in the short grass.

83 on par 72, played the front nine twice because it was so damn slow

7 over the first four holes, played great after that especially considering the wind was 20+ mph

26 points which sounds awful but I was encouraged by some of my ball striking. four rounds ago I wasn't using the driver at all today I used it a lot and didn't lose anything to the right. The swing changes I'm trying to make are coming along but I lost a few balls to a pull hook off the tee not my normal miss. Short game and putting were poor today not helped by very slow greens.

42-42-84. No birdies, 2 doubles. Driver was mostly ok, chipping was unusually good, everything else sucked.

82, frustrating round. For the most part I played well, but a few awful mistakes ruined what could have been a good round of golf.
