I shot 81 and threw my putter like 9 times. GO IN THE HOLE.
Also, after hitting something like 23/28 fairways last weekend, I suddenly lost it this weekend. I blamed yesterday on rushing after work, then today opening tee shot OB right, and popped up one 185 yards. Been about 2 years since I've done that.
I had a wacky 9 holes today with 4 pars..still ended up shooting a 45. I've really got to stop trying to hit hero shots; they just put me in deeper trouble.
47-45=92. I would have been the worst scramble partner ever. Didn't hit many terrible shots, but hit very few good ones, made exactly 2 putts from 8 feet or more. 1 triple, 3 doubles, 11 bogeys, 3 pars.
Finally. Game together today after a rough first hole and a weird 4th.
Played nine holes:
1. Par 5. Great drive in the FW, shanked second shot, terrible chip, 2 putts, double. +2.
2. Par 4. Pulled drive. Decent second to get back in play. Third shot on, 2 putts. +3
3. Par 3. Iron just short to a front pin. Putt from the fringe to 4 inches. Par. +3
4. Par 4. Pop up drive. Chunked second shot. Gap wedge to the back of the green. Miss a 4.5 footer. Double. +5
5. Par 4. Drive in FW. Gap wedge to 20 feet. 2 putt par. +5
6. Par 4. Drive in FW. PW from 125 to back fringe. Chip to 4 feet. Par. +5
7. Par 3. 6i up the hill right of the green. Chip to 3 feet. Par. +5
8. Par 4. Great drive in FW. Pitch from 80 yards to 10 feet. Make the putt. Birdie. +4
9. Par 4. Drive in right rough. 9i to 5 feet. Miss the let to right breaker on the high side. Tap in par. +4. 39 total.
77 (+6) on a 6435 yard tricky/awful course. Typical Danish course where they put a course where there is clearly no room for it, and added in a few downright ridiculous holes.
Hit the ball terribly but holed some good putts, so I guess I should be happy.
