Probably my best tee to green performance in quite a while. Was 3/7 FIR and 6/9 GIR. The fairway misses were not that bad, even better considering I hit 6 drivers on the day.

18th is a 510ish par 5. Had 215 to the green. Hit a decent 5 iron but it was trailing a bit right of the green, until it hit the power line crossing the fairway, time to re-hit. 2nd attempt was hit to 6 feet, which I missed, but tap-in birdie is good.

Very much not in the right state of mind to play today. Injured knee on 10, scored better when I couldn’t hit it more than 150 go figure.

Nice back nine.

I made a par on a par-5 today after smothering my tee ball OB. Great second drive and smoked a 6 iron just over the green and chipped it in for 5.

40-42 82. No birdies. One double. Nothing too exciting or too bad. Just golf. Only hit 2 fairways. 7 greens. Putting was meh

Limped around as part of a scramble team, shot -4 for 9 which was 3 out of the money.

Tonight was the best the knee has felt but I still didn’t test it at all with the swing. All weight on the right side produced a few good wedges and short irons but the drivers were highly variable and mostly bad.

Wasn't feeling the driver today so I went 3 wood and hit 7 of 7 fairways. Only 4 of 9 greens which is horrible considering the irons into the green.

Left an 8 foot eagle putt on #1 short. Also left another eagle putt later in the round from 30 feet short, but at least that was gonna be a lag all the way.

Also managed to do the double reverse bounce back 2x today going birdie, birdie, double.

Our annual red tee round. Honestly it's tough because I can't cut corners from the ladies trees because the trees are so close. I didn't make a single birdie going for the green off of the tee on the par 4s. That score was a diff of 10 on GHIN. So to shoot my handicap I needed to score a 69 on the day.

46-38 84 today. No birdies but hit 9 greens. Had a 3 putt par which is always a little bitter sweet. Also had a par-4 bogie with an OB ball after the par with an OB ball last week (different hole; but some decent bounce back shots lately). Triple and a double on the front plus a ride on the bogie train. Then started hitting it pretty solidly after the turn.

I didn’t play the red tees, played one set back aka the senior tees. Which honestly was quite enjoyable. Hit 5 iron off most tees, a few 4 woods. Lots of short iron practice.

Even got the putter dialed in the last few holes.

Played Orange County National Crooked Cat today. Played the orange tees at 6,900 yards. Also zero roll today too. Odd considering there hasn't been much rain lately. Had 2 birdie putts lip out and left an additional 2 on the edge. Also had misses on two additional birdie putts that were under 15 feet.

Caught a day there with only 10 mph winds. Never played there under 15-20 mph.

Colorado doesn't account for altitude when courses are rated, which makes everyone out here a scratch. I'd call it like a 76 rating if it were Florida. 7900 yards.

Started on the back 9 by making 5 straight pars, including missing 3 birdie putts inside of 20 feet. Made 6 straight bogey and 7 of 8 on the front. Irons and putting went south. Had 3 3-putt bogeys on the day.

Did manage to have 170y left after my drive on a 532y par 5. Cutting the corner and a favorable wind may have helped.

39-46-85 yesterday, started on the back. Way too many doubles. One birdie, and my second eagle of the year.
