if you're never going to carry it on the course then it looks like a steal.
heavier than i'd want to regularly carry round after round.

Anyone have/had the UA Spieth 3 Limited Edition shoes? Massively on sale on TGW and I like the way they look lol. Was curious if anyone had anything bad to say about them or UnderArmour shoes in general before buying

Unless you have unusually narrow feet I would say no. I have tried on v1 and v2 and i would consider my foot "normal" and they were always way too tight to me. If they have a return policy then it doesn't hurt to try. If they don't because of the discount I would pass.

I used stand bags for years but recently switched to a 'mini' staff bag which I enjoy for the tour look. But since I pretty much always use a cart and the staff bags are always awkward on carts I'm leaning heavily towards going to a cart bag like the PING DLX. Anyone have any experience with it?

Weird thing is that I though I've always used a PING driver in the past, I just switched to an TaylorMade M1 and love it, so now I have no PING equipment in the bag.

No need to match bag with equipment, unless you have serious OCD

I'm all over the place.

This means no you wouldn't get them or no there's no reason not to get them? The Puma PWRADAPT shoes have caught my eye but aren't on a discount currently like so many of the others are. My wife wants something to get for my birthday but TGW is offering free 2-day shipping today only so might be too tempting lol. Do you what the "caged" vs. lace is all about? Do you still tie your shoe the same way?

Personally I would not get them but if you really like the look why not try them right? What does someone on the internet know

Tied or not, doesn't matter to me. I have had both.

I'm def leaning towards the Pumas now. they are sharp and reviews seem great. Just curious was "caged" means

one of the primary reasons i keep wearing FJs is the sizing options. as long as you know your shoe size (i.e. 11.5 M) their fit is consistent. i've purchased several pair without trying on and the fit was as expected.

Maybe it's because of supply chains, but holy **** golf push carts are expensive (for delivery to Canada). I saw some comments about some of them in the last page of this thread but the link was sold out-- any recommendations on where to check recommendations/reviews for them? Just Amazon? Golfwrx?

Most of the people I know who have good pushcarts have Clicgear and they seem to be uniformly happy with them.

ten years ago i bought a clickgear 3.0 for under $200 and still use it every round. the brake cable became the break cable but the part was under $10 to replace.

I got a Click Gear on recommendation from this thread an absolutely love it. I forget the model but can easily look it up if interested. It just makes walking a quick round so easily and makes me end up getting out there by myself so much more often. I've also found I love walking much more than I love riding. Can't recommend a Click Gear enough and it was a total recommendation of this very thread

I've had my Clic Gear for a few years and love it.

Ordered a new pair of Ecco Biom shoes today. It will be my 3rd pair. They're kind of expensive but well worth it IMO.

I have a ClickGear 3.5 and it's great. I know a lot of people who bought this spring causing a supply crash I'd imagine.

A MacGyver move I have seen on my course is a guy has a jogging stroller and he just throws his bag in it and off he goes.

My wife and I each bought one a month ago and used it once. We are going to return it. We bought it when golf courses were not allowing carts, but that changed 5 days after our first round. at that time it was almost impossible to find a push cart. I thought we were going to have to play for several months not being able to use the cart.

otter, is there a physical reason why you and your wife don't want to walk? walking is solid exercise and golf is a great excuse to do it.

Can I check a golf bag as my free checked bag on a flight (United)? Or is it considered oversize luggage? And do I need something special to put it in to travel?

+1.

If you have a physical reason or a job where you use your body all day and need to relax, then by all means.

But if not, why not walk when playing? With a cart you can carry anything you need without worrying about your back and get a good exercise session in "for free".

I make exceptions when I'm somewhere really hot or when at courses where "everyone" else use a buggy, but since I suck at golf, I need to at least have an "exercise"-excuse for playing as much as I do.

from where and where to? assuming you don't have any sort of 'status' with united?
you'll have to check it and what you put it in all depends on how far you're going and how attached you are to your clubs (and having them when you get to where you're going).
