i've found golf pride multi-compound are great grips for all season playing (wearing rain gloves during the wet season of course).

i'm curious about you guys buying cart bags....what's the benefit? in my experience there are plenty of lighter stand bags that have more than enough capacity to carry everything you need...unless you're storing a 12 pack. are you looking for individual separators for each of your clubs?

this is coming from someone that rarely uses a cart and typically pushes his clubs on a tricycle.

Yeah, it's kinda nice to have the individual club slots, plus the layout is designed for a cart so it's easy to access all the clubs. Pockets for everything. No stand to mess with when you're loading it onto the cart. It's just optimal for when you're compelled to ride.

I have an ultralight stand bag for when I walk.

First thing I am looking for in a cart bag is a 14-way divider. Also looking for storage for the rain gear. Last one had a cooler pocket but I never used it. I have a carry bag as well for the trips when I am walking, which honestly rarely happens.

I have a cart bag because I found a better sale then on a stand bag after my last one basically fell apart.

Pulled the trigger on a Garmin S60. Total impulse buy and not really needed. Just looked cool.

Bought a new push cart about a month ago to force myself to walk more. I've walked 5 rounds with it so far and it's been great.

Opted for this one instead of the more expensive Caddytek or Clicgear. The one I got is sturdy, has yet to fall over even when I let it coast down a hill, has a small cooler that fits 4 beers plus ice, and folds very easily to fit into my trunk. Only slight downside is that it has a foot brake, not a hand break but no real issues there. Would recommend if you want to walk and not carry.

I'm a total clicgear fanboy.

I've had the first cart I bought for years and the only thing I've needed to fix was changing the break-wire. And me using it as a break while walking down hills (which it's not designed for) probably has something to do with that.

It folds up tiny, has a ton of optional extras and it woks just as well now as when it was new. It gets split first for best golf-"gadget" I've ever bought next to my bushnell rangefinder.

i can't give you my opinion after thorough research because once i found FJ weathersof gloves i haven't worn anything else since (other than FJ rain gloves or winter gloves). They're durable and do a great job in hot weather.

Disagreed. They suck, imo. Ripped a fresh pair, (around the wrist area) while trying to put them on.

Going back to FJ Weathersoft...unless I can find the black taylormade rain gloves again. Those things were the goat and lasted a long long time. (I gave them away and really regret that decision)

I've used the Footjoy F3s for a while, pretty good. I much prefer a quality leather over quantity. Nothing worse than a poor fitting or plasticy glove.

OK used yeah. Tour AD shaft for 90? Huh, I don't really keep up with shaft prices, just thought those were super high.

Yeah the Tour AD iron MSRP is $115. I bought from an authorized dealer on the bay for $90. Makes you wonder how a 39" shaft can be that low and the driver shafts at 45" can be $300.

I've never really worried about shafts beyond the flex...am I missing something?

In one word, yes. Bend profiles on various shafts differ greatly and you have to fin one that fits your swing if you want to get the most out of it.

I need a stiff butt and soft tip (giggity) for correct launch conditions.

Edit: There are other tihings such as torque, the lower the number the more "boardy" a shaft feels.

So I've got to try a bunch of clubs, each with a different shaft? No thanks. I'll stick with what I've got.
