I finished the full bucket after lofting up to 11 degrees and started teeing it up a little higher (I generally tee it up relatively low), and yea - it was going higher and longer and it obliterates my old R1.

agree with the SLDR love. i'd suggest testing the club to it's upper bounds of loft to see what it might do for you. disassociate yourself from previously conceived notions of loft and just see what the club can do when lofted higher.

I can't get myself to buy taylormade clubs because once I do they come out with something new 2 months later and it pisses me off.

I would like to buy the new Nike VRS but I hate that it's red, I like the standard black driver.

Bought some new Vokey SM5 wedges today though, excited to hit them.

I initially bought the TM Burner (driver) before I realized what Taylormade does with their marketing. Then I went from the burner to the R1 because they had a great trade in deal (I bring in any old TM driver and I get about $175 discount on the R1)

Now, the SLDR may be a TM product but it is legit amazing and worth the money. I feel it's pretty far ahead of the other drivers at this point that I don't really care if TM comes out with another driver in 2 months (I'm prepared to hang on to this SLDR for awhile).

just picked up Apex 5-PW from Callaway Pre-Owned in 'like new' condition with my settings (1-up, +1/2") for <$750 and free shipping. I've purchased two fairway woods from there in the past (Callaway), as well as a few old school Volkey wedges and two TM hybrids. Let's just say that I'm always surprised at how much better the condition of the actual club is compared to the website's description.
I'm half expecting the 'like new' irons to still have the sticker on them.

Just got my new Rocketbladez in yesterday, but I haven't gotten a chance to take them out yet because it rained all day today. Suffice to say that I will be out there tomorrow regardless of whether it is raining or not.

Ogio has great bags, but it's really something you just need to pick yourself imo.

I have a Callaway Cart bag with a lot of pockets and a cooler. I'm happy with it, but if I had to get another one, I like the Ogio ones I've seen.

by Sunday bag i'm assuming you're referring to a smaller, light-weight bag.
i've always been fond of sun mountain bags...their straps are cushioned well and the adjustability seems to work for me. i haven't personally tried this bag, but it looks pretty nice for a smaller bag. http://www.golfsmith.com/product/300...rap-carry-bag#. Went great, Mike is a great guy to deal with. Their set up is pretty awesome (2nd time Ive done it). I ended up going with a BB1 flow neck bent to 66* with 1* of loft. I mentioned that it would be cool to get one without a sight line and then potentially mill one on the top line later on if I wanted. Sure enough, Mike went down to the production floor and found one without a sight line so now Im gaming a naked BB1 flow neck which you cant get anywhere online. Has to just be from the factory.

It is a fun experience and you will definitely enjoy it. They didnt have many cool tour putters there though but I wasnt there to spend 1k+ for a putter anyways

I've had mine for 3 weeks now. Played about 4-5 rounds a week with them and I still can't believe how much I love them. Birdies on par 3's used to be wet dreams, not anymore. First tourney I played with them I got a skin for a birdie on a tough par 3 after I stuck it to 5'. I used to be happy to just hit the green on that hole. Now I rarely miss it.

irons showed up yesterday and still had the stickers on them and shrinkwrap on the heads. i would be stunned if a ball had ever touched the face...they are pristine. can't wait to hit them.

I played 9 holes (6:30am tee time) by myself and had the entire place to myself. I was hitting 3 balls the entire time, in hopes of getting used to my new irons (Apex). They feel amazing, but it looks like I need another round or two to finally figure out the ranges of each club. (any advice on how to expedite this process?)

Also, I still haven't worn my FJ DNA shoes (I posted earlier itt), because the Ecco Biom '13s are just so damn comfortable. I never not want to wear them.
