BIOM hybrid 2 would be my first choice but I only tried them on didn't buy them so can't say for sure.

Thanks for the recs guys! Just curious: what's the diff between spike less and just sneakers? Not having to change shoes does sound very appealing. Also worthy to note I'm a beginner so not sure if it'll have an impact

I switched to spikeless and never have a traction problem and I swing ~110. Spikeless are so much more comfortable. I currently game Oakley Cipher something or other. Love them. They feel a lot like tennis shoes for comfort. Never going back to spikes. I picked the oakleys because they have a thinner sole. I don't like to feel like I'm standing on extra stuff.

spikeless still has some sort of added traction beyond a normal sneaker for sure. Mine have small almost spikes around the edges and like 40 grit sandpaper replaceable inserts on them.

Also recommend Ecco Bioms, I own two pairs and they are comfortable and solid. Some people don't like spikeless but I have never had any issues with slipping.

i prefer spike-less. own a couple pairs of addidas boost which i like. i burned through four pairs of Ecco rather too quickly, so, while they were quite comfortable, I can't recommend.

love my Eccos! still wear them daily; teaching, playing poker, twisting by the pool. just not on the golf course.

suprised nobody has said footjoys DNA i think its by far the most comfortable and i have like 15 pairs of golf shoes

My Ecco BIOMs have never slipped...I have more issues with spiked shoes than I have with these.

I got sick of breaking off a spike every round or two. Got old quick. Only slipping issues I have had were in conditions no sane person would golf in.

I don't currently have a pair of spikeless shoes, but it seems every local course is leaving their grass trimmings on the deck, only to be collected in my spikes and needing to be scraped off every hole. I can see how spikeless would help this situation

Spikeless are definitely the ****. Invested in a pair recently, forget the name of Nike's and love them. They look good, feel good and can simply walk right into the bar with them after a round, no shoe change needed if you don't want to.

Played a few wet rounds and never had an issue and I legit swing out of my shoes.

Was testing a Maltby STi HD 6 iron with a 125 gram shaft between stiff and xstiff. Went ahead and ordered the 7-PW, so much better ball flight compared to my A12OS with a silly stock shaft than is probably only 75 grams

Also bought an 18* adams 9031 hybrid since it was only $24 on rock bottom.

I put my own wedges together this time 1/4 inch and half inch shorter, seemed to solve my left miss about the same as if I had bent them 1* flat

Yeah, I arrived at the store at 12:15 to pick them up. Didn't leave until 1:30 cause the guy was working on a couple other clubs and I wanted to get mine done while I was there. I had to do SOME work on the day.

I am first off tomorrow and only a single. Should have a review of them on here by 10am

1 round in immediate reactions:

- The swing weight is something to get used to. Playing the TT DG X100s is a heavy shaft at 130g and it's probably 20ish grams heavier that what I used to play.

- Ball flight is noticeably lower which is a really good thing. I hit a really high ball and this helps keep it under the wind a bit. There is workability in the club though as far as ball flight goes. I had to hit a 7 iron over a tree and I was able to flight it higher when I had to.

- I am about a full club shorter. My 8 iron flew 150y.

- I went and hit the range after the round and grabbed a fitting board to check on the lie of the clubs. The 2* upright looks to be a good fit.


Overall so far I'm liking them a lot.
