obviously not a single golfer in the world with the mental fortitude to play with Tiger because they know

Spoiler:
he's back

Rose just needs to complete the choke job and give him his rightful FedEx Cup title

I was pretty down on tiger but that was one of the more impressive sports events of all time. That crowd shot on 18 will become iconic.

Yeah - like one shot defined the whole tournament! (I hope you made your comment with a smile on your face ).

He had to make birdie on the last for $7m. Smoked his drive after driving badly all day, but hit it too well and got himself a downhill lie in the rough. Went for the green and got there with a bit of luck, but still had to 2-putt from way back - $7m 2 putt - knocked it stiff! Almost kept his No. 1.

Tiger can afford the $7m, serious money for Rose - was a great result for golf all round. Which was pretty obvious from the fact it was one of the best endings to a tournament ever seen, with the crowds and emotions and everything going on.

Did you see how relieved he was to knock it stiff? How far do you want way back to be for $7m? SMH. That's like money for winning a bunch of majors - a bit of pressure there. Tiger missed his birdie from close in.

It was probably what 30 ft? Just saying it didnt look like that long of a lag, I wasn't referring to the pressure or any other factors, just seemed silly to refer to that as "way back".

I defer to your experience of what is way back for a $7m 2-putt. On greens that they often compared to "Augusta-like".

Obviously it was an easy finish for Justin, and he probably messed up by losing 1st place in the world rankings to Dustin by not going a bit more aggressive on his putting stroke and making that eagle.

Anybody hating on Rose is doing it wrong. Guy is very easy to root for and was super classy.

Just enjoy the Tiger glory. So good to see him in the winners circle again.

Great weekend all around.

Rose is a classy dude and I have nothing against him but for some reason he's pretty boring to root for.

I can see that for sure, he's just one of those solid grinders for years who I think has rightfully earned that #1 ranking and all the recent success = easy to root for.

I know it's early to talk about, but I heard people last night saying Tiger can't win the Masters because he can't draw the ball like he used to. I have to think if Tiger is at the top of his game that won't be an issue.

Was overly dramatic to say "way back", not taking anything away from JR by saying so. I wouldn't of even pointed it out if you hadn't said this in a post nitpicking someone else, lol.

I'm not the least bit butt hurt. The fact that he is a stupid trumpkin (talk about not needing the descriptor) doesn't effect the fact that he can't compete at the pga level.

Oh Ya and he has had two other come backs which resulted in an avalanche of WDs.

That 3-wood on #9 yesterday was something else though. After the round he said he took something off of it and cut it up into the wind. From over 270!
