my question: how do they know that? do they take a blood sample? surely you have a right to refuse that? or is the idea that if tiger cooperates he gets treated better? and he wants to demonstrate that he was alcohol-intoxicated?

Standard procedure in many states is submit to breathalyzer/blood test when suspected of DWI/DUI. Many states have refusal options which carry a mandatory suspended license fine etc but potentially allows you to defend your actual pending case

I checked them out (in the name of science ldo) and the site hosting them is awful - 10 minutes after I'd closed the site, loud music started playing on my computer and I had to close down several browser windows that it had opened and hidden off screen.

There's actually just one, rather bland full frontal, of Tiger - most of them are of Vonn.

Pics of Vonn were... very close up... Not worth the computer aids though.
