His iron play looks really really good. Has had a lot of lip outs and just overall hasnt putted well outside 10 feet. This is alot of progress though.

It's weird how Tiger fans aren't allowed by non fans to readjust their expectations and call progress when they see it. Can't say anything positive if he isn't winning.

He is still making shots that for the most part, pros don't make.. flubbed chips, ob drives, duck hooks. these are major major problems...

Meh I'm a "Tiger basher" but there is no doubt he is making better swings generally and hit a lot more quality shots. I think he is still miles away from winning again but he has shown some progress

And he is still making cuts, which meas he is playing world class golf, but there's no way a pro wins by hitting 1 or 2 terrible shots a round. Winning a golf tournament usually equates to playing flawlessly for four days..

It golfers got a mulligan a side, Tiger would be winning every week, but...

Tiger is proving he can step up at any time. He was just a few holes away today from having a legit shot to win tomorrow. The odds of him not winning at least one more major before 50 are low. That is 40 majors, and even if he plays in 30 of them, he has the skills to be there and win at least one. Don't count out Jack's record. If he can get a little momo and get his mojo back he could rattle of a few in a two or three year span and then be a stone's throw away.

half the tour is closer to spray and pray off the tee, he is far from the worst. Chip shots are lol 5 Hdcp chips though

If this is what you consider stepping up then Tiger is officially done. I said before he look better and he does. But he has only proven at this point that he can T50 a middling tournament, with a weak field, on a super soft course without the bright lights on. I suspect he will struggle to make the cut at Open Championship. Time will tell

My point is that he doesn't have enough 'wiggle room' for a flubbed chip, and a snap hooked drive per round. If you think he does, then we disagree.

I maintain that Tigers problems are in his lower back, hamstrings and glutes. Whatever his workouts have been like for the past years are costing him...

Tigers problems at this point aren't really related to physical injury imo. Now it's all about years of mental and physical scar tissue. He's just not the same person he once was. He can get back there, but at this point he's simply not the Tiger we once knew.
