What a waste!

Although if you operate under the assumption that he wasted like 4-8 years of dominating the sport, then I guess you could make the assertion. Under that assumption you'd be saying anything less than like 22 majors was a waste.

Wasted talent and Tiger reminds me of one of my all time favorite golf stories/quotes:

Seems open to interpretation.

A) He thinks Daly doesn't have half the talent he has. So, he would drink knowing he's not going to be the goat.

or

B) He thinks Daly is more talented than him. So, he would drink while still becoming the goat without having to workout.

What a year for tiger not going to get it done but legitimately a part of the back nine in two majors this year. The nostalgia of the birdie on 9 today with the fist pump etc brought it all back for me. Excited to see where things go from here. Brooks on the other hand putting together a beastly stretch 3/7 majors etc.

Sunday was so much fun, almost felt like a win, this Tiger redemption story might end up being a GOAT sports story, at least for me. I'll just never fully understand why I and so many others enjoy watching him play so much, whilst not really giving a **** about watching anyone else. Outside of maybe michael phelps for swimming, which i wasnt into anyway, there doesn't really seem to be a sports parallel for it.

i wondered what TW needs for the $10MM prize.....

obviously, he needs to win... AND Justin Rose 3 way tied 5th or worse. and dechambleau T15th or worse (he could certainly recover to this level by sunday afternoon)....

and then i think finau 3rd... and some of the others were 2nd or worse (which they would be if TW wins)

so he needs to win and mostly dodge JR (5th) and dechambleau (15th)
