Wonder if Tiger would ever consider a Spider putter like Day/DJ etc.? He seems very old school and probably hates the idea of mallet putters but might be worth a try.

i thought TW has been doing well...

so i did some math... if you adjust TW's fedex points to the number to tournaments that many top players have played, he'd be around 13th or 14th overall... note: some of the top players have played fewer than the adjustment i made.

He's had a T-2, T-4 and a T-5 this year. That's way beyond my expectations considering less than a year ago I thought his back would never allow him to play at a high level again. At the rate he's going he'll pick up a win before too long.

That's his heel right now not breaking par in opening rounds. People want to focus on the way he's finishing rounds but you're going to make mistakes when you keep putting pressure on yourself to come up with something late.

Except they're not wrong unless you insist on a bad, nitty definition of how much a shot matters. Late Sunday strokes have a much greater effect on your win probability and expected prize money than Thursday strokes.
