I don't think they chopped. They are both very wealthy and 9Mil is still a lot of money but I think they were playing it straight.

I bet there was some kind of chop but we will never hear about it. Maybe something like 3 mil each and play for 3 sounds reasonable.

I'm guessing it wasn't great as they were selling it off where they could at the last moment it seems - here in the UK I think it was announced just the day before that Sky Sports had got it for general broadcast on their network live on Friday.
