Hello all,

I'm looking for a cheap, preferably free app or something to help me measure my swing speed so I can track my progress. I'm not against spending a little money to get something decent, but I definitely can't afford any of the awesome simulators.

It'd be great if it measured other metrics, also, but my main focus at this point is swing speed. And it doesn't have to be too accurate, just something to give me a baseline to work off of.

I've seen a few apps out there, but the reviews aren't too promising.

Thanks in advance!

have you thought about having a friend watch you with a stopwatch and then doing some math to get the MPH? I kid, I kid.

Curious to see what others say, but I can't imagine there is a free app that measures swing speed and if there is, that it's even remotely accurate.

I use and I know someone else on here uses PRGR Portable Launch Monitor easy to use and very easy to carry and use it on the course or on the range.

Not sure what you're willing to spend this is £200 in the UK. I think I paid £400 as I got it as a package on superswingspeed with their sticks.

Has club and ball speed with carry distances and total. From what I can tell its pretty accurate comparing what I do on the course.

I don't think a app is going to close to accurate but saying that I haven't actually looked into it so could be wrong.

I have this radar it works well:

Most people prefer the PRGR though, its another $100: https://superspeedgolf.com/products/...launch-monitor
