Ryder Cup Matches | The Celtic Manor Resort - Newport, Wales | October 1 - 3 - Page 7

Even if there is no weather delay, I'm not sure they will complete all the matches today. But if they do, the 8+ players that compete in both matches will be utterly worked. Dealing with all the elements and special gear just wears you down pretty quick.

i took off the block in the spirit of the Ryder Cup. this is a really good point you bring up. maybe a captain that was planning to play a player all 5 matches will now have to sit that player during Saturday's AM matches?

Its going to be 6+ hours per group. Getting dark here around 7.30ish now so it will be touch and go.

Riley is 88th on this year's money list if I am looking at things correctly. I assumed you meant he just fell off the planet, but maybe you meant he just doesn't win(not that he won much before)

There isnt going to be any let up with this weather over the weekend so I dont know what they are going to do. Such a shame for such a great event. Its almost certainly going to finish on Monday imo

Stewart Cink tilts the **** out of me. In the commercial he said "The Ryder cup is about nationalism." ROFL he obv has no clue wtf that means. Yes, Stewart, the Ryder cup is about the idea that ethnic groups deserve their own state. I've seen previous footage of him talking about Faldo where he belies total ignorance as to what knighthood is.

FWIW I live 20 miles away and got wetter cycling to work today than any day since last winter. It's just so unlucky they got the worst weather for freaking ages the day it starts.

Also just heard that the Ryder Cup will finish at 6.43pm on Monday no matter what. If there are matches still on the course at that time then they will be halved no matter who is up or down. It would really suck if this happened
