Also, I will get off the reservation a little and say that Furyk has not stepped up when needed. His approach on 18 was absolutely crucial, and he hits it into the bunker from 120?

tbh I expected Fisher to win that match. He was playing unreal tee-to-green yesterday and you can't just put his putting down to Harrington reading his putts. Harrington has been terrible, unsurprisingly.

...that every single time Europe opens the door WIDE for the US, the US seems to fail to get through it.

McDowell chunks his approach at 14 BAD (could have actually gone in the water, for God's sake), and Mahan doesn't even put it on?

Speaking of which, let's not forget that Cink single-handedly cost the US half a point by skulling a bunker shot like a Sunday hack yesterday. I mean, let's say he'll skull, what--maybe one out of 500 bunker shots?

If Rickie gets out of this with a half then it would maybe be the best performance of the week.

Mahan could be only 1 down after this hole. McDowell doesnt look comfortable with this shot
