Started golf road trip yesterday with 3 nights in Akrons.
1st roud of golf was at Silver Lake Country Club. When I was in Chicago, picked up 2 Maxfli drivers and a Maxfli 5 wood. Paid $58 for the 3 clubs. Golf Galaxy was having a clearance sale. 75% off already discounted prices. The way that I hit them, not sure the drivers were a bargain.
Haven't golfed in three weeks. Was rusty on the front 9 shooting a 49. The back nine was better with a 43. Going back to my regular driver tomorrow.
Tomorrow I play the south course at Firestone and I play the West course on Saturday.
After Saturday's round I'm off to Toronto. Going to stop at Presque Isle Downs to check out the horses and then try to play a little poker at Niagara Falls.
Next weeks golf schedule includes Glen Abbey, Greystone, King Valley, and Kings Riding.
Does anyone know what the poker options are in Toronto? Or do I end up playing on the internet?
