I haven't read a book since 8th grade but **** I'd sprint to the store, pick that **** up, and read it in one sitting

The only way I would hate Tiger is if the book said how he beat his hoes and shot steroids. Pretty much anything else I'm ok with. What guy in the world doesn't have "sex addiction"? How many guys haven't cheated on someone in their life? Who the **** cares? I just want to read about all the crazy **** he's done.

I would pay a huge price for a tell all book. HUGE price.

If it was juicy I would buy the book the day it came out just like most everyone in this forum. I just think it is low class to do a tell-all book when you don't need the money and it may in fact lead to less lifetime earnings if it hurts his caddy career and his life was overall +EV from the relationship with Tiger. Steve got treated like the hired help he was and fired without cause. Big deal, he's going to be able to work with a top 10 golfer and do just fine even if it's probably not a million/year like he was supposedly making with Tiger.

If Elin wants to do a tell-all book I'm 100% behind her for doing it. I just don't think it's good for Steve or his reputation to do it. If it turns out Tiger was banging Steve's wife without his permission then by all means go for the book and even embellish the details right up to or beyond the legal line for slander and libel.

If Steve wrote a tell all it would make him more in 6 months than he could possibly hope to make in 15 years caddying. Think about it....book becomes movie. If he could write one, which I doubt he can, it would make him 10+ million. Seriously it could be 20+ with movie.

I wonder what kind of advance Williams could get from a publishing house? Would be a sick amount no doubt.

Was Tiger really saving money if he paid Williams a salary of $1 million per year as opposed to a commission? What is the standard commission for caddies anyway?

Tiger's Prize Money by Year (in millions of dollars):

1997 -- 2.067
1998 -- 1.841
1999 -- 6.617
2000 -- 9.188
2001 -- 6.688
2002 -- 6.913
2003 -- 6.673
2004 -- 5.365
2005 -- 10.628
2006 -- 9.942
2007 -- 10.867
2008 -- 5.775
2009 -- 10.508

According to the Washington Post, Fluff Cowan was fired by Tiger in 1999 for publicly revealing his salary.

Also, Fluff is a member of Congressional, which is sort of interesting.

Rick Reilly wrote such a lol article for ESPN.

He continues to talk about Tiger needing to go back to the swing he in 2000. How has he not heard Tiger say his knee can't handle that move? He's only said it fifty billion times.

What Tiger needs is to stay healthy for a solid period of time so he can work on whatever swing he's working on.

Afaict, if Tiger stays healthy, the only question mark is *shutter* his putting. STOP TALKING ABOUT HIS 2000 SWING YOU ****ING IDIOT ARGGGH!!!!

Also, lol @ telling him he needs to open his wallet more. Tiger has donated more money than Rick will earn in a lifetime. Who gives a **** if he doesn't leave a hundo after every meal.

I agree and I would read it also. Stevie was a prick but had Tiger's back the whole time. I think Tiger is making a huge mistake. He should have said hey go caddy for Adam as long as you like as long as your back on my bag when I am ready.

Half of that article was stupid, the other half was accurate. Tiger does need to connect with the little people more. Fans, valets, etc.

Say what you want about Phil not being genuine, FIGJAM, etc, but at least he makes the effort with the public.

I actually like Tiger more now that you're seeing all the things he's done. And I liked him a ton before all that **** went down even.

So you like him more because of details revealing that he's a huge assclown to his wife and closest confidant for the past decade? I suppose you'll need to make room on your mantle for a Tiger action figure next to your T.O. and Scottie Pippen bobbleheads.

I suppose other people liked him for his awesome personality before. At least he has character now. I'd rather watch a guy with issues play than a robot play.

And she probably deserved it....

Really hoping this is a level.

LOL at rather watching a dick play golf than a gentleman. Of course that's why a certain group flocks to Daly, brainless hillbillies enjoy watching one of their own.

No, people just like watching real guys play golf. Like Bubba, Rickie, Daly, Couples, Mediate, Boo Weekly, JB Holmes etc.

Ever wonder why a lot of the top 50 golfers aren't even shown on TV? Probably not, because you already know why. They are boring as **** and walk around like a rock all day.

As a casual golf fan, I really don't understand how anyone roots for the guy. He comes off as a complete prick in interviews post round. His public apology was a complete joke.

I imagine Williams never became good friends with Tiger outside of golf as Tiger likely regarded him as a peon. Dude should tell all imo.

They were in each others wedding and vacationed together on occasion.

Nits do have a hard time with the simple things. Calling with the 2nd nuts, playing more than 8% of hands, tipping the drink lady, and reading are all areas they have trouble in. Most of them don't even like to post their thoughts online in fear of giving away too much information. It makes them feel too aggressive.

Yeah, you're right. Before the scandal, Tiger was rarely shown on TV and never showed emotion on the course.

Yeah, let's use the best player in history as an example of why people wouldn't want to watch emotionless players that never win and therefore aren't marketable or entertaining. That makes sense.

Why does he need to put more effort into connecting with people? Everyone is always told to just be themselves. Tiger is a bit of an introvert when it comes to dealing with the public. Now people are clamoring for him to change to be the person they want him to be (for whatever reason).
