Long Point GC, Amelia Island Plantation, FL
The most challenging course I have ever played - and the one I've played the most in my life. It's not long, but it winds it's way through woods, marsh, and besides the ocean in one of the most gorgeous natural places for golf in the world. You better hit it in the fairway and on the green - or bring a few sleeves of balls with you.

Amelia Links Ocean, Amelia Island Plantation, FL
Some amazing ocean holes here...the 15th is astounding - uphill, directly at the ocean - to a tiered green.

Short, frustratingly difficult, and gorgeous. Some amazing holes on this one. And the 17th fairway is in my parent's backyard!
I've lived in the Jax area for a long time and haven't played any of these Amelia Island courses. I'm gonna have to try to get out there.
I really only have a couple noteworthy courses:
TPC Stadium Sawgrass - had a buddy that worked as a cart guy out here for a little while. Played it about 7-8 times total. Fun course. 17 is always a good time. The Valley course right next to the Stadium is nice as well.
ABCC - Atlantic Beach (FL) Country Club. Played it Friday. It's a new course, opened about a year and a half ago. Pretty difficult, always windy. The greens are hard and fast. The web.com tour championship is being held here in October.
