this was funhouse golf for me. fairway 200 feet below and big sweeping right-left dogleg. for me, that begs hitting a huge hook that stays in the air for 10 seconds. but yeah an ugly takeaway either way.

as it turned out, i started the ball on the right edge of the fairway and it hooked into the left trees. thought it would be easy to find the ball because of the steep slope back towards the middle of the fairway, but never found the ball.

That bottom pic of the driver impact made me go back to my driver-swing video and see if the color combo matched my Harrison Mugen Prototype that I have in my D2. I haven't seen anyone else with it yet. I love it btw.

I always joke with my friends that driving distance should be measured in yards per pound and not total yards. I am about 145 soaking wet and carry the ball around 285-290. My other friends who hit it similar distances have about 25-40 lbs on me.

Realise it doesn't really show you much but I was mucking around with some HDR on the iPhone and took this one of my buddy performing his standard reaction after missing a birdie putt...

Obviously we were the first out on the course that day

The Reserve at Lake Keowee:

one of the most legit par 3's I've played. It's like 240 way downhill with a boomerang shaped green and junk all in front.

Great pics UC. Looks like you have a hell of a move.

I played in a charity event in Bedford, NY at Glen Arbor yesterday and there were a bunch of pictures taken. Beautiful golf course. If any good pics get sent to me I will post them.

from the 18th hole of metropolis cc. snapped by a Journal News photog. ball was plugged next to the left lip of the bunker and i put it to about 3 inches for a tap in par.
