We got paired up with this young junior golfer today and man could he hit the ball well. 15 years old and 6 feet tall and a great swing.

Some pics and a quick tr from a long weekend in Scotland:
Played 3 courses - for some reason I didn't get a single picture from one of them though I usually do take a lot of pictures...
First one was Murcar Links, which was a nice (links, ldo) course:

First time I've been in a Scottish links bunker. Not recommended.
Then we played Auchmill which was the one I didn't get a picture from - still not sure how that happened as it was a good course and I'm a bit of a photography freak. It was about a sixth of the price of the other two, which I guess was partially because it was not a links-course and partially because it wasn't quite as well kept as the others, but still a really fun course.
Definitely the kind of course it pays to play a few times if you want to score well though (they all were really - so many blind shots on those links courses). I especially remember one hole where what we thought was a dogleg turned out to be almost a roundabout
Great casual course with a lot of friendly people walking their dogs and stopping to chat while we were waiting to tee off.
Then off for a (non-playing) visit to St Andrews:
Finally, Cruden Bay Golf Club - another links course and absolutely my favourite of the three we played. Some really fun holes and some really beautiful views while walking the course.
Only course I've been on where there was a traffic light - you hit the button when you left the tee and then hit another button once you reached the next tee to turn the light green for the group behind you:

First time in Scotland, but definitely not the last (absolutely going back to play at St. Andrews some day). Scots are awesome people too - everyone we met were really friendly and fun.
