100% if DJ was on the PGAT and finished 70th like a Thomas he would be on the team. Dechambeau is a toss up as he doesn't have the same RC experience as DJ or pedigree but he played good enough this season that if on the tour he qualifies.

lol, considering that it was basically the leaders from the 4 majors, as everyone else recused themselves, that denied LOLiv OWGR points, do you still feel that they will just change the qualifier criteria instead to accommodate the expedition tour?

They actually said they could do some math to handle the 54 hole format. The main issue was the closed shop / no path to get into and out of the league, making it hard to compare performance to other tours.

they also mentioned the team aspect of LIV

there was a documented case (the player said so in a post-match interview) of a player playing the final hole differently bc of his team's standing in the team standings

Today was great entertainment. If you didn't watch and/or enjoy that you don't like golf. Solid 2nd season, tons of fantastic golf played on great courses around the world, looking forward to seeing how next season plays out.

Bryson is one of the top players on the planet right now. To me he comes off unauthentic but can't help respect the guy for how good he is.

Only watched a few holes this weekend. It was cool to see Doral again, and I think the team format they used was pretty good. Before it’s all said and done the Tour will rip off the format but execute it a lot better.

The original vision, ripped off from the PGL, was for a tour modeled after Formula 1. I think that model still makes a lot of sense and would be fun. The problem is its been so horribly executed by LIV. But I wouldn't be shocked at all if the Tour eventually copied it, just like the WGCs were a copy of the original Normal vision of elite events from the mid 90's.
