Another washed up commentator for the tour that is supposed to be offering new, exciting and different.

LIVtards don't really seem to have a cohesive strategy for what they are doing and with Norman at the helm that is unsurprising

He talked about the greens being bikini waxed and referenced body bags behind one of the greens.

3 big names being floated around currently are Hidecki, Cam Smith, and Cantlay.

Not sure how much average golf fans care about Cantlay, as good as he is. However I will say that if Hidecki and Cam both jump ship, that is going to be a far more substantial loss for the PGA Tour than anyone who has left so far.

If Cam Smith does it will it be after the Presidents Cup?

Assuming LIV gets critical mass it seems likely that major winners will move directly to LIV, as OWGR will be moot for 5+ years along with the big payday.

The tweet is referring to the fact that the bans are silly and did nothing to really stop any of the players that were going anyway.

trump let slip why the LIV exists in his interview. simple retribution.

Quote:
The former president was asked whether he had any regrets that the golf club was hosting a LIV Golf event rather than a tournament sanctioned by the U.S. Golf Association or PGA Tour.

"No, no regrets. That's their problem," he said. "This course blows every other course away."
the LIV is part of his 2 billion dollar bribe from Saudi for the 666 property. creating the LIV was a side deal he asked for because he was mad at the PGA Tour for removing his courses from the tour.

I have no idea if they still have a beef, but back in the 90s Norman was pissed at him for suggesting a lot of tour players do drugs, including "the crazy stuff".

Just heard Bubba Watson is taking the leap. Also, the local Augusta rumor is The Masters is not going to disinvite past champions who are on LIV. That I am happy to hear. A past champion is a past champion. Sure seems like LIV is gathering some serious steam whether we like it or not.

hate seeing the suits at ANGC make the wrong decision. they've always seemed to value the best interests of the game in the past. another sign of the moral decay of the U.S.

Bubba the bible thumper doesn't practice what he preaches then. seems to be a pretty consistent theme in those circles

5 of the top 10 in PIP last season are now with LIV and more to follow after the FedEx cup. Too little too late I guess for the PGA tour. The LPGA officials and players seem a lot more open and positive towards a LIV merger.

Ummm, no, LIV getting way more players than I ever thought they would is the gathering seam part. I truly never thought so many would jump ship. That maybe says more about the PGA in many ways than it does about so-called greed of individuals I think. And the PGA's attempts to be a monopoly and exercise that power doesn't seem to be working as they thought it would.

All it says is that people like money. I read Bubba is getting $50 million. What does that have to do with the PGA. Should they be giving Bubba, ranked #86 in the world and clearly on the downswing of his career, $50 million to stay with them?

It is silly to blame the PGA, and that is recognizing there are things they could do better. The Saudi money is so ridiculous that it has no relation to the real world. You can't compete with irrational actors who have unlimited money and don't care about making a profit. Even if the PGA made some changes like guaranteed minimum even if you miss the cut, or paying caddy expenses, etc... still a drop in the bucket compared to the pile of money the Saudis can bury them under.
