Ummm, no, LIV getting way more players than I ever thought they would is the gathering seam part. I truly never thought so many would jump ship. That maybe says more about the PGA in many ways than it does about so-called greed of individuals I think. And the PGA's attempts to be a monopoly and exercise that power doesn't seem to be working as they thought it would.

All it says is that people like money. I read Bubba is getting $50 million. What does that have to do with the PGA. Should they be giving Bubba, ranked #86 in the world and clearly on the downswing of his career, $50 million to stay with them?

It is silly to blame the PGA, and that is recognizing there are things they could do better. The Saudi money is so ridiculous that it has no relation to the real world. You can't compete with irrational actors who have unlimited money and don't care about making a profit. Even if the PGA made some changes like guaranteed minimum even if you miss the cut, or paying caddy expenses, etc... still a drop in the bucket compared to the pile of money the Saudis can bury them under.

I see $75 face value tickets for LIV are being sold on StubHub for $2.
