imagine his record without going through the putting slump
or if rahm rors and xander avoids the inevitable horror hole when under pressure

is there any way this move by Kuchar isn't 100% douchey?

I was about to post how crazy it is Matt Douchear is extending this tournament until tomorrow for a hole that is inconsequential to him. Joke's on him if he wants to wake up early to finish one hole.

Also it was legit sunset when he walked off. That's a good 20 minutes of actual daylight to play without really compromising anything. Also the Tour's fault for even giving him the option. Maybe it's part of their rules, but I don't really care to even look that up.

Congrats to Rai though. Dude's been balling. Deserved a win.

Kuchar says it's in protest, not sure I buy it.

Edit: just read more back story, I don't mind Kuchar doing this. 6 figure difference between bogey/birdie, more money for his caddie.

You’re assuming he will pay his caddy properly this time.

I’m torn, if this were a player trying to scrape and claw to survive I’d have zero issue with it. But Kuchar is a bit odd and can come off looking not so good at times. And none of us really know just how dark it was.

Don't think it mattered, but kuchar not gaf at the last hole might knock someone else out of a play-off spot or a card next year.

Ive seen were they turn off the filters on the camera and your shocked how dark it is.

He ended up with par but no one knows yet if him getting a par has an effect on his card or someone else's had he bogeyed

He said yesterday after he finished ,that he thought stopping would make it easier for Greyserman to stop, should he want to. He also said he thought Greyserman needed a birdie to tie the lead. Even if that had been the case, not sure he should be taking sides.

I read more about the caddie fiasco in Mexico. I knew most of the details but did not know he made this comment....

"For a guy who makes $200 a day, a $5,000 week is a really big week," and "I certainly don't lose any sleep over this."

They tourney organizers/sponsors were actually going to make sure the caddie got a bonus if cheapo Kuchar did not come through... I mean ffs.

Despite the smile, Kuchar seems like an entitled dick. This latest situation seems like more confirmation.

Excuse me. I like to screw up the entire Monday morning here just for me. TYVM.

That doesn't show you anything. Cameras aren't a human eye. The reality is on a sunny day, Kuchar has a good 15 minutes if not 20 of daylight to play golf after sunset. Civil twilight usually lasts 30 minutes, and near the 30 minute mark, I would say it would be difficult to read putts, but you still could play if absolutely necessary. Players finish out rounds all the time after sunset.

Based off the situation, in my opinion, they had the perfect amount of time to finish the hole without light becoming an issue.

He probably watches Caddyshack and roots for Judge Smails.

Once he hit his tee shot and the fact he was out of contention in the fed ex I agree .

Then the PGA shouldn't have blew the horn.

Scottie is a machine I am curious what his caddies final year earnings will be

I was shocked to see there are two players tied for the most wins in a season. Tiger being one never would guessed the other

Keegan up to #30 in the DG rankings. impressive as a 38-year-old

7 career wins (including a major). not too shabby

He's openly battled anxiety over his career. Personally I like him, seemed like a good guy with a nice family on full swing. Also he battled to continue his career after the anchored putter ban.

The argument between him and MAJ at the Match Play years ago gave him a black eye for any non-American fan, even if he was in the right or not.

Keegan's face is also very punchable.
