Tiger's 82 is far and away stronger than Snead's, just based on strength of fields if nothing else.

Zalatoris withdraws from Byron Nelson to rest his back.

He most likely is not getting the major record. It would be great if he can beat Snead's. Him and Scottie should pair up for the Zurich next season.

Obviously. What I'm saying is the official tie could be changed via this research. Would be cool.

Wouldn't be the first time. When I started playing I was told Jack had 20 majors.

He still does with 18 of those professional majors.

Tiger fans should want it this way because then he would only be 2 behind, 20 to 18.

They’ve already revised Snead’s recently anyway and he wasn’t thrilled with it. Think he was claiming 89. The PGA Tour was a completely different thing back then.

I agree it should be 20 Not that I care whether it puts Tiger closer or farther away from Jack, I just don't like the idea of assigning someone a major and then taking it away.

Wasn't the idea of having 4 professional majors be the ones that mattered a Mark McCormack invention anyway?

You know, somehow I missed out on the Ty Cobb hit total revised recently, so that the whole Rose breaking the record event and ceremony at Riverfront wasn't even the breaking of the record. He already had it, officially now at least in retrospect, from a few days before at Wrigley. Anyway, if they can correct that record, they can correct Snead's, if research warrants it. Just saying.

If I don't order some Bibigo dumplings before this tournament is finished I'll be surprised. I feel like I'm getting brainwashed.

Good for Canadian Pendrith but that leaderboard was trash.

Shocker guys, the event didn't exactly have the strongest field.

Pretty crushing to watch Kohles implode. Glad it was Pendrith who got it though.

by all accounts playable most signatories would rather receive via fedex a wells fargo check scribbled on the skin of a 20M purse
