I read an article today about many of Sam Snead's victories being dubious in that they were unofficial at the time, exhibitions, 4-man fields, impromptu team games, and some other stuff. Tiger's the man on the 82 tie thing. All his are heavyweight wins ... and if you added in some of his off brand wins he's way out in front.
Tiger's 82 is far and away stronger than Snead's, just based on strength of fields if nothing else.
