Just got around to finishing the US open and can't believe Rory didn't get the job done.

And my man Cam Smith shows again he's the best 4th round player in the world as he grinds out another top 10. I think he'd be good money to win the British Open.

Zac Blair tied for second

Back in 2017 or 2018 we were in St George Utah at Sand Hollow . Had the first tee time we check in and the head pro tell us a group of six is going out ahead of us . We were a little frustrated but the pro said there very quick
While we waited shocked to see Zac Blair come up to us and thank us for letting them go. He tells us don't worry you'll never see us .
They than proceeded to tee of two golfers at a time each guy had his own cart . After two holes we never saw them again

Always followed his career after that

Cool to see Keegan win in his neck of the woods in New England. Seems like a good guy, and absolutely flushes the ball. Always enjoy this event even though it's a birdie fest.

He's been pretty open about his aniexty struggles as well. Good to see him getting good results. The banning of the belly putter set him back.

USGA now saying ruling was incorrect, the club length measurement should have started from below/behind the ball as opposed to from the top of the slope, so he got a huge break but it ended up not mattering since he didnt get up and down anyways. he still would have dropped on the same shelf but his stance would have been a lot more awkward.

I didn't and still don't understand why he got relief from a hazzard in the first place. If his ball had been a little lower and been in the sand, do you get relief for an embedded ball? It's a hazzard for a reason.

Welp. Did some research and it appears that the hazzard is just the sand. A ball embedded in the sand is deemed unplayable and a penalty stroke assessed. But a ball embedded in the face of a bunker is deemed not part of the hazzard and is subject to free relief. 🤔

Damnit, looks like they started early today. Was looking forward to watching later and now I can't. Looks like it's currently on ESPN+ but lol at paying to watch TV (especially anything ESPN).

Yep then they said "coverage continues on Golf Channel". Flipped over and it was tape delay from the 12th hole lol. Apparently playoff was live on CBS sports app but either they didn't say it or I missed it. Either way, no other pro sport gets covered in this half-assed way. Pretty terrible.
