This is the first tournament in a while where I watched all of the Sunday coverage. In the 90s and early 2000's I had a family friend who related to Grant Waite and he gave me tickets to Bay Hill every year. I've also played the course a handful of times. It's my favorite non-major of the year. My second favorite is probably the Players because I've played it so much on video games and in sims, although I did play it for real once. I thoroughly enjoyed watching today, now I can't wait for next week.
Elevated events delivering so far. Big names near the top, close finishes, and the occasional underdog victory like Kitayama.
Was amazing watching that last hour or so... literally NO ONE could make a medium-length putt. Only putt anyone made was Kitayama's on 17, and that was the only one he needed.

Kitayma is so good he intentionally left that putt on 18 half a ball short just so he could mark it, let Hovland putt out, and take his moment in the spotlight.
Looking forward to the Players, always a fun tournament and weather looks pretty good except for some possible rain on Fri.
I'm going with Scheffler, guy is insanely consistent and always near the lead. I think he's paired with Rahm and Rory on Thursday, pretty solid group there.
