I was pulling for Kirk, but feel bad for Cole losing after hitting 4 good shots on the playoff hole.

Big win for Kirk after coming back from alcoholism and depression issues.

another huge golf event in Florida today (the first and third columns are the members)

cool seeing Alexa Pano playing. i don't see any LIVtards. that must get to them being blackballed from fun/elite events like this

i see the MLB commish is playing (well he is a member, so no surprise really)

I am still not convinced this tournament comes back. Attracting a title sponsor for a tournament that no one plays in will be a task in it itself. I know with the new PGA deal all the big names must play in those 12 tournaments from what I saw in Full Swing. So they play Riviera and they skip Honda because of the Arnold Palmer coming up.

Jack was also told the 'Honda' won't be sandwiched by designated events next season

happy to do a $50 charity event where the winner picks a charity and the loser must donate to it

PGA Tour approves radical schedule changes, reducing fields in elevated events and ending cuts

The PGA Tour board on Tuesday night ratified a radical new approach for the 2024 schedule that will see reduced fields in the new designated events and the removal of the 36-hole cut.

Fields in designated events will be reduced to between 70 and 78 players with no halfway cut. The changes will not apply to all of the elevated events— the majors, the Players Championship and the FedEx Cup playoff tournaments will be unaffected.

There will also be five places earned through performance in non-designated events.

The Tour's to-do list is coming along nicely:

[x] No interest in events with history like Pebble

[x] Chainsmokers concert on-site during tournament

[x] Limited field size

[x] Bigger purses

[x] No cut

[ ] Players can wear shorts

[ ] Shotgun start

[ ] 54 holes events
