It was interesting seeing Brooks at a low point mentally after going through injuries and poor play and is often a side of professional sports fans rarely see or think about. But it's hard to know how much of that was just editing.
The Finau episode was probably the best, he's just such a good person.
The Mito Peirea ep was ok it was cool to see some behind the scenes stuff of his 72nd-hole collapse.
Other than it was pretty boring. Even with the LIV stuff happening there wasn't really any big dramatic story lines. It was just small glimpse of players personal life, showing them in the gym and the same 3 journalist plus "Tiger Woods former coach" giving commentary and some tournament highlights. With drive to survive you had drama with vehicle performance, team dynamics etc. That was definitely missing in Full Swing. I'll continue to watch because I love golf but definitely disappointed.
I've only watched the JT/Spieth episode, but definitely enjoyed it enough to keep watching. It isn't as "personal" as I had hoped, but even just watching that episode had me more intrigued with what JT is doing on the course.
I'm excited for the Dahmen episode. He's from my hometown, as is his caddie, who wouldn't say I know personally but have had several interactions with him on the course. Dahmen wasn't around enough for me to have a local perception, but everyone loves Geno.
