So IDK maybe 10 years ago?? that Peterson guy from LSU seemed to get blasted (from my recollection) when he said the top college guys can beat the pros.
I don't know where I'm going with this, except to say that comment aged pretty well. Heck I think Peterson retired already, didn't he? It is amazing how deep The Tour and the KF are now. There is no seasoning needed for some of these top Am's as they turn pro, they come ready.

Wolff guy is really impressive. Move is like Furyk on steroids. He absolutely kills the ball.

Was a great finish to the tournament, awesome eagle by Dechambeau then the answer by Wolff. These young guys are amazing, feels like almost anyone can win on any week.

Irish Open was great also, have to like Rahm for the Open Championship the way he played this week.

i never really understood why 35 to 40 year-old players are better than 21 year-old college players. but they were... only explanations to me were course knowledge and perhaps having so much time to devote to golf/fitness/etc...

In before it becomes a thing for drunk fans to do the Wolfman howl after Wolff hits a tee shot instead of yelling mashed potatoes.

3 weeks too late.

That was an amazing tournament to watch.

Is that the quickest to first win after turning pro?

Would fade Rahm for the Open.

Not quite. Think it is about 10th. Someone won their first event as a pro.

That sounds like a high number of albatrosses to me.

I was thinking the same. I thought an albatross happened about once every two to three years on the PGA Tour.

No one gives a **** about this tournament, but I'd love to see HV3 be in the final group tomorrow.

When I saw the leaderboard, I had to make sure it wasn't a replay from 2010

Line of sight from the aerial broadcast position tower.

Frisky putt for the win that.

edit: seems like the French have trouble finishing off golf tournaments.

Incredible to think that Darren Clarke was a major champion just 8 years ago.

Cool that he gets to hit the first shot of the tournament (with OB left and right, it won't be for the faint of heart).

It got a lot worse haha.

If Rory wasn't already a confirmed multiple time major champion he'd be lolSergio before Sergio managed to somehow bag a major.

anyone else see luke list hit it straight backwards out of the rough today?

like all shots that go backwards (well, maybe except phil mickelson flop from extreme uphill lie) it definitely hit something but it seemed like it was only inches in front of impact. so the ball really did go backwards.
