the chip-in at masters will always be #1...... i was thinking greatness of shot more.
i was there that week in canada, but not that day.. saw tiger go minus 6 over 4 holes.
i got two insights on TW Glen Abbey from caddying on canadian tour,
1) one player said tiger was aiming way left of where his shot ended up. i.e. was actually hitting a much safer shot. haven't heard anyone else say that. but this player as adamant.
2) i saw another player in my group hit TW's exact shot. from bunker 220 out tight to a pin with water in front (wasn't as tight, and of course not 72nd hole of PGA tourney... and almost 20 years onwards). the player put it within 10 feet. told him that was the best shot i'd ever seen.
