Yeah I thought basically nobody wears metal spikes anymore, but I seem to hear them frequently enough when players are walking on concrete that I'm not sure what the % is.

How great would be a Koepka/Dechambeau US Open final day pairing? I wonder who the gallery would be rooting for?

For Phil to come back at them and win his US Open of course!

Otherwise, a hard choice.

I don't get the Bubba d-bag observation. The guy clearly is battling emotional issues and seems to be honest at every opportunity. Tiger seemed to like him and I'm not aware of anybody who is bashing him on tour. He might not be the best in front of crowds but most of these guys are lacking in that regard as well.

He is an incredible self-taught talent the likes of which maybe only a Trevino can compare to.

Not sure about that, I seem to remember some anonymous polls of PGA pros that for a few years running ranked Bubba as least liked player among his peers. Anyway no denying his talent but I think you give him too much credit. He's just a jerk imo.

I do think villains are good for the game and I'm actually glad to see Bryson embracing it. Gives us great moments like that Brooks clip. It's hilarious watching the two alpha dogs feuding with each other.

Yeah, I would not use the term "jerk" to describe Bubba. Maybe defensive, self-conscious, pensive. He's done a lot of off-course work to benefit a lot of people.

To each his own, I guess.

Of course yes to each his own, we only get small glimpses of these people on television so obv. we don't know what they're really like. Brooks seems like a sullen dude for example, but might be a great guy off the course. I certainly commend Bubba for his charitable work and I think a self-taught guy like him with a unique swing is good for the game overall. I don't hate Bubba he just seems like kind of a whiner.

Bryson is the only one I'm pretty certain is insufferable both on and off the course lol.

He's different but it isn't all bad. Some of it comes from ego I'm sure and some from raw intensity. How much of the super polite/politician/fake nice guy do we need? It certainly can be more admirable to be graceful in those moments, but I'll take the a-hole over the fake polite BS.

Watch a few of Bryson’s interviews. He’s a complicated and interesting guy, basically did golf his own way and succeeded (same length clubs) and did something everyone would tell u is a sure fire failure move (pile on weight to hit it huge) succeeded again . He’s massive for golf

Slow play thing is not even true, slightly slower by average and one incident blown out of proportion.

Only negative I can see is somewhat petulant on course when things are not going well.

Brooks however is a knob, imagine letting someone live rent free in your head like that

yes, Bryson chattering around in metal spikes is extremely annoying (it jumped out to me when Golf Central coverage had a camera on him walking from his car to the clubhouse), but it sure seems there is something else in play

Im guessing it's real and they don't really like each other. I am sure they are playing into it a bit more for the attention. I also wouldn't be surprised if Koepka's team wanted the video leaked to take the attention off him for being a douche after round 4 saying a fan tried to take out his knee.
