Kokrak, Todd, JJ Henry, KTway, and Couch are OUT as well as Murray who tested positive for that other thread.

Anyone know what happened to the others?

Won't politard up the thread but DAMN is it satisfying to fast forward through those preachy 30 second bits when someone tells us what we should be doing to save the world. STFU Tracy Wolfson, I'm busy sitting on the couch watching golf.
LOL. How dare a sports division of a corporation try to shine a light on racial injustice in the U.S. Just shut up and dribble the ball. amirite?

They are better than the commercials for Roman.

I'm guessing my reply about CBS Sports's PSAs commenting on the persistent racial injustice in the U.S. But who knows.

I must have missed those in the 6 minutes of Commercials to 6 minutes of golf ratio.

DJ goes bogey-double-quad-par-bogey for +8 in a 5 hole stretch. Has looked pretty bad since the restart with the notable exception of a win. Odd.

Edit: another bogey, +9 for 6 holes.

He won a couple weeks ago then shot 80-80 last week, so this is getting weird. I wonder what's up with him?

Looks like he WD'ed. Citing a back injury although could just be he wanted to head home. 80-80-78 for his last 3 rounds after winning.

Here's his warmup session before Thursday's round. Doesn't seem openly out of sorts but who knows how he is normally in practice/warmup.

only watched a minute or two, and i'm not trying to fan some flames, but starting at 0:20 he moves the next ball over with his club, decides something isn't right, stumbles while picking it up before toweling it off (who towels off range balls while hitting wedges?) and then places it back by hand to be in a perfect spot. he then looks around the range for a bit before swinging.
i don't know if that's typical for DJ because i also don't know how he is in practice/warmup, but that sequence seems a bit unusual.

He’s working with Trackman and water on the ball (common with dew in the morning) would mess with the numbers. You’ll also see caddies tossing their players balls while hitting drivers for similar reasons.

Not a fan at all of this golf course.

i think it's perfectly fine for ESPN and golf channel to talk "racial injustice" and "social change"

but i do not like them talking about it for hours on end (ESPN, not Golf Channel).....

i also don't like the whole SJW obsession......... it's too much and it's a big factor in what got DJT elected president.

Longest ever hole out for par (250yds) in the shotlink era.

I have today's broadcast on for background noise, didn't even watch yesterday's. Too bad the LPGA season doesn't restart until this coming week.

I'll make Finau O/U for majors wins 1 ... and I'll hammer the under. Be glad to lose it.

Like to see him win a tournament first. Hoping it comes soon
07-28-2020 , 08:29 AM
I'm not sure if he will get a major, but Finau will score a few more wins and be fine. Its just really hard to beat 150 of the best players in the world even if you are super talented.
07-28-2020 , 12:28 PM
Yeah issue with Finau is his 4th round scoring has not been good, while 1-3 have been phenomenal. Not sure how much of that is variance.

It's amazing though how easy he makes ball striking look. He's bound to win a few times.

Seven majors coming up over the next 343 days (barring unforeseen events). If ever there was a time for GOAT to run hot...
