How about that shot on 18 by Hedeki out of the bunker

I'm surprised to see Rose win so fast with the new irons. I really thought he would slow down this year with the equipment change.

Most PGA Tour wins by an Englishman (since WWII)

Rosey Palms: 10
Sir Nick: 9
Luke Donald: 5
Jacklin: 4
Poults: 3

Li got assessed a 2 shot penalty on 18 as his caddie helped align his putt under the new rules?

Shocking - especially given they were timing Bryson on a calendar by the end

meh, until they actually start doling out stroke penalties for slow play slow playing golfers won't change their behavior. thus, Bryson isn't to blame ... Tour and tournament officials are.

I never knew he was that slow but I agree I wish they would

And 6 of Faldo's wins were in Masters and British, so really only 3 PGA tour events.

He also hit a similar shot out of a fairway bunker on #9. IMO those had to be the 2 greatest shots by a single player in the same round ever.

I didn't realize that, I would have guessed he won more.

the below may or may not be his normal pace for a fairway shot from rough, but it is clearly well over 60 seconds. Bryson is fine once he's over the ball but definitely one of the slowest overall

This . Damn ....it ruined my doubles I had with Bryson as my anchor and picked a bunch of others on PGA but snap passed on Rose due to clubs

Gotta hand it to Bryson. When he came on tour with his clubs and science of golf talk he was berated when he contended but didn’t instantly start closing well

Now he’s crushing and doing it in a way like nobody else, like he invented a new way to crush. What a man .....he’s quite dreamy as well THE Official 2018/2019 & 2019/2020 PGA Tour Seasons Thread

Prior to Bryson coming on the scene, I actually had imagined the concept of playing with same length clubs. It seemed like a good idea, and so I did the usual Googling, and found that it had been thought of before, and there was a small manufacturer producing sets of same length clubs. I contacted that company in an attempt to try and help them with marketing and sales. I still have our email exchange..

i hope everyone is getting their last fix of Johnny Miller behind the mic (currently on GC). tmr is his last day broadcasting.

Champ with the walk of shame worse than the walk back to the tee when you thought the ball was in bounds.

This is such a great video from the Pro-am day of the Waste Management Open. I was never a big fan of Gary Woodland but this video really changed my mind. A genuine feel-good story.

NBC coverage has been embarrassingly awful today. Sucking Johnny Miller off the entire time, showing a picture of Trump with Jack and Tiger (with a quasi political message/undertones to it), sucking Johnny Miller off the entire time, cutting to commercial (split screen) with the last group walking to the 16th tee, sucking Johnny Miller off the entire time. Guess it's just a warm-up for the terrible coverage of Pebble next week.

plus the production value is awful as the crowd sound is turned up way too high (especially on that par 3).

dang Roger Maltbie barely got through his fellating.

edit: also crazy that he sits there all broadcast long sucking down Easy Cheese directly from the canister.

lots of interesting stuff....

i think the JM tributes were fine.

him eating cheese wiz straight from the aerosol container was great.. reminds me of myself and whip cream occasionally.

was that peter jacobsen and his daughter doing a music video during the tourney? so bad in almost every conceivable way. would prefer them to use local talent if they are going to do stuff like that. PJ and his daughter is just wrong.

i'm thinking one day there will be major problem with the phoenix drunk and it'll get brought down a few levels.

this is euro tour but that was amazing how close one of the pins (maybe thursday) was to the waves of the red sea (saudi arabia).

is pga tour the only mainstream org (i.e. across the spectrum viewers) that positively acknowledges trump? i realize viewers/participants etc. probably skew republican.

didn't comment last week but those were 2 amazing fairway bunker shots by matsuyama. the first one was much better but not over water.
