I remember a few years back Kuch was on TV and made a bizarre and completely unfunny joke about punching Nick Faldo in the face. I think maybe Nick criticized something about his game, can't remember the whole story. At any rate it was bizarre because Kuch delivered the line out of left field, twice, and with that same lobotomized grin he always has.
I just get a weird phony vibe from the guy. Have never met him obviously so I could be way off base.
I’ve never been able to put my finger on why I didn’t like Kuchar despite his good guy mannerisms and reputation . This could be it
See what I don't get is he just says its not true. Why not publicly state what you paid that caddie? Heck he can say I paid him more than the $3000 as agreed upon and than paid him $6000 which still makes him look like a cheap SOB.

Just saying its not true gets it to die down faster. If he puts a number out there then you have a couple day debate on Twitter about what the right number should be. Its a smart move on his part.
No surprise that hot take machine Chamblee went to the mat defending 3K as reasonable and fair, even before Kuch's clarification that it was "more than that."
Approach on 18 was incredible from that stance and just the fact he is as shocked as many that he just won .
The chip on 15 wasn't bad also. I was hoping my felloe CDN could close it out after that monster drive on 18 but his approach wasn't as good
Hadwin actually looked a little nervous down the stretch. Thought he had it locked up when he got the 3 shot lead, but he played tight those last few holes.

Agreed you could see it when he left that short uphill putt for birdie short
DeChambeau destroyed the field in the Euro Tour event this week. I am pretty excited for what this guy is getting ready to do on the PGA Tour this year. I'd actually be a little surprised if he is not #1 in the world by the end of 2019.
