We all know Greg Norman is a piece of **** but this is a whole new level.

Then doubling down...

Not everybody’s the perfect person in the world. I mean everyone kills people, murders people, steals from you, steals from me, whatever. I think that people need a second chance, and I’ve always looked up to (Greg Norman) , and I always will.

That last comment is probably just Norman trying to protect some of his friends from being beheaded by some of his other friends. Being a good citizen!

it's not about whether you lured someone to your government building to then murder and hack into pieces, it's about the lessons you learned and friends you made along the way

Trey Mullanix went out in 29 and oh man is he regressing to the mean on the back 9

Mistakes with bone saws are easy to make, we've all been there.
05-13-2022 , 12:50 PM
I remember one time in college some friends and I were cutting class and just sitting around drinking beer and then Cooter walks up with a bone saw. Well, one thing led to another. You know how it is ...

did you learn your lesson though? that's apparently all that matters

I did forgive Cooter for bringing the bone saw. That isn't enough for everyone?!?!?!

chasing the lifestyle with a gambling problem is not ideal

Well Mickelson is getting some comeuppance for his unbridled "I'm Phil and you're not" act. Sad but he seems to need it.

I think Phil is all-in on Liv at this point. Needs the guaranteed money. Let's face it his days of winning millions on the PGA Tour are over, as are most of his endorsements.

I suspect we will never see Phil play in another PGA or Champions Tour event, which is too bad. In a world full of personality-free golfing robots, Phil was fun.

Interesting prediction. I wouldn't hazard a guess on that. His income will take a monstrous hit but he has enough to live 100 lifetimes. I bet that 40 million lost gambling figure doest even count the 37 million or so in winnnings. Kind of what is the total of your losses figure, as opposed to any net figure.

Possible although I heard an interview with Shipnuck, and he seemed pretty clear that he was talking about $40 million total net loss, including any winning bets. Number was based on someone who had knowledge of Phil's actual financial/tax documents from the insider trading investigation. So I would assume those documents would have listed any offsetting winnings as well, and Shipnuck would lose all credibility if he left that part out.

Of course it's possible Phil lost even more than what he officially reported. It's also possible he won a bunch of money that he didn't report, to save on taxes I suppose. But I tend to believe Shipnuck that his losses were really that large.

Meh. They are trying to sensationalize it and even phrased in the articles to be able to fudge which it was. He won millions betting for Billy, and lost millions, of course had to write off millions in losses, and he's legend for chopping up soft golf action hugely. MEH on the 40 million by about 40 million.

Apparently Billy is pretty pissed at FIGJAM for not agreeing to testify in his defense. Billy's got a memoir coming out later this year....

I will chime in again on this one if anyone missed it earlier. I literally had the same surgery about 14 months ago. After stitches are taken out at 2 weeks, which is what appeared happened, all you need to do is wait a bit for the scab to clear. I was swinging a club at 3 1/2 weeks and back to regular golf at 4 weeks. Granted I only swing in the 110s compared to his 140, but there had to have been something else in play.

Edit: Once stitches are out you are supposed to take cocoa butter or something similar and massage it around where you are cut to reduce the scar tissue that has built up. I remember that hurting for the first week or so but after that it's not too bad.

I thought I remember someone saying he had a torn labrum in his hip as well, now that could certainly sideline him a lot easier.

it's wild that Hovland is DFL in SG ARG on Tour this season.
