Who does der Shambles have to overtake to be the biggest head case in PGA history? I think he has a real chance to shine.

Daly? I think he'll go the way of Duval or physical breakdown. I'd put career wins from here at 6 or so and anticipate the under.

not a Bryson fan at all...

BUT... telling another player to "stop walking" doesn't seem that bad.. of course, it would have been 1000% better if he asked him to "can you hold up, please?"

something that isn't really bad is BDC "rolling his eyes" at Cantlay taking a long time putting

not a fan of heckling but I think in BDC's case it is somewhat justified.
08-31-2021 , 05:43 PM
honestly, I think BDC is comfortable with his own awkwardness..... not sure how prolonged heckling will affect him though

If Cantlay stepped off because Bryson was walking, the internet would've gone crazy on Bryson for having the audacity to walk ahead while someone was hitting.

I thought most of the 2p2 posters were beyond piling on someone just because Twitter thought it was cool. Sadly, I was wrong. Learn to think for yourselves, people.

I'm piling on a prick of a faux-scientist with a terribly thin skin. That is too much of a trifecta for me to pass up.

I hope I'm not tempted again any time soon as I don't think I'm strong enough to resist.

hey folks, don't forget the PGA 'Player Impact Program' has been a thing for almost half a year now.
whether you love 'em or hate 'em, players still have the potential to make millions based on clicks.

Where are these places that we must avoid clicking to avoid further enriching some spoiled rich people for something other than playing golf?

Asking for an elderly friend.

i don't think this click will count: https://www.golfdigest.com/story/pga...impact-program

If it does, I want my money back!

Thanks.

DeChambeau speaks up and goes directly to Musk and Bezos comparisons to describe his situation. I wonder what kind of ego we are dealing with here. Does anyone else on the planet see him and his situation that way?
09-02-2021 , 07:43 PM
not sure...i don't know what you're referencing and i'm not going to google it. giving all my clicks to other players.

Brooks "Butterfly" Koepka (after that putt today)... I so hope DeChambeau starts calling him that -- "Butterfly." It will end up in a pay per view UFC main event.

Hope Kevin Na earns a spot on the Ryder Cup with this weekends performance

nah. Whistling Straits is an awful track for him (plus there are better candidates available).

Na T58 at the '10 PGAC and a MC at the '15 PGAC (both played at Straits). he would've been fine in FRA last time out tho.

You're probably right on all accounts, but using data from 2010 and 2015 should NOT be a factor. He's playing really well now. How was his form back then? Was he an elite short gamer?

Different eras, IMO.

I don't think he makes the team, and I'm not sure he deserves it based on the merits of recent play (mostly from other "better" players).

Hard to argue against Cantlay POY. 2 wins + Tour Championship in a season when 2 Masters dilute that tournament.

Ironic that Cantlay got the gift win at Memorial, which could have turned the points race the other way and gotten Rahm the Tour Championship and POY if he had been able to finish it.

Re: Na, he probably should be put on the team for his body of work. Besides, Ryder Cup is a show and nothing more.

Drive by Cantlay on 18 was the definition of clutch, especially after Rahm bombed his drive. Rahm did miss a bunch of makeable birdie putts today, definitely had his chances to win this.

If Rahm doesn't have that WD for Covid he's POY, but given today's result prob gonna be Cantlay.

And good on Kevin Na, made himself a nice chunk of change this week. Actually tied with Rahm for best score without starting HC.

the course is an awful fit for him. it is a bomber's paradise. i'd guess he isn't even getting serious consideration from Stricker, especially with the way Team USA will have the course set up ... i.e. bombs away.

there's only 2 spots available imo with these players locked in:

Morikawa, DJ, Brybaby, Brooks, JT, Cantlay, Finau, Mr. Gold Medal, Speeef and English.

so, 2 spots open from this group:

Reed, Berger, Simpson, Scheffler and Kokrak

I honestly think Na is gonna get the nod along with Berger (or maybe Reed I guess). None of those other names you listed are no-brainer picks and Na has been playing very solid golf for a while now. He also seems to have the feisty attitude they like for Ryder Cup.

I don't think he'll pick Na, but if he does maybe Na can become the American Ian Poulter?

i'm thinking Berger is almost a lock too. who knows, Stricker might look at Na and think his personality would be beneficial in the team room.

So true, in hindsight that was about a $12million vaccine shot that Rahm decided not to get.

No Na
