i know a lot of ppl didn't care for Faldo but he was one of my faves

why CBS didn't replace him with Justin Leonard i'll nvr understand

Faldo definitely an acquired taste. Was never a fan, but I give him props on a great career as a player and broadcaster.

It's Immelman who is taking over for him, correct? If so that's a great pick by CBS, Trevor is excellent.

Kinda crazy that Rickie made the FedEx. Can hardly remember him making a cut this year. I guess he is benefitting indirectly from the Saudis luring away several players ranked above him.

Lol ok. Getting 1 win every 2 years isn't something to write home about, especially with all the top tier pros who left. This is a great time though to playing the PGA tour - lock in those weak field wins you can brag about down the road.

weak field events are a thing on the PGA Tour. this is nothing new

historically, getting 1 win every 2 yrs is actually something to write home about. your knowledge of the PGA Tour seems limited

Sure would love to watch the "playoffs" this morning during my morning run. But nope not even the golf channel shows full coverage of the "playoffs".

true fans have access to four different feeds right now. some may argue too much coverage

Real leagues don't require subscriptions to watch full coverage of their "playoffs".

That said it's going to be a great weekend, course seems like a good test and hopefully no more pick and clean over the weekend. Good mix of possible double bogeys and possible eagles, should be a lot of leaderboard movement.

What an exciting final group tomorrow is going to be! Straka vs Spaun. Rory never touched a club or worked out for 2 weeks leading up to the "playoffs", I guess when ya have all that guaranteed $ what's the incentive to try.
