Laird also made an insane up-and-down on Par-3 17, after hitting his tee shot a mile right. Glad to see him win it, would have been a shame to blow it on 18 with the bogey.
Gotta say Matthew Wolff is really impressive. There was a Par 5 near the end where he absolutely mashed it down the middle, I think he hit it 375 or so. Then he laid in a perfect wedge and made the putt for eagle. His swing is odd looking but he crushes it.
Popcorning the Stewart Cink caddie "drama." Wins with his son, Reagan, while playing well in a couple tournaments. Tells his regular looper (Kip Henley) and Reagan that if he gets Top 5 at Sanderson he's sticking with Reagan. Gets 12th, sticks to his word and has Kenley on the bag at Shriners, gets 64th. Reagan back on the bag (planned) for Bermuda, he gets fourth. Henley lands at Houston, Cink tells him it's his last tournament on the bag; he's going with Reagan full time.
Cink knew what he was getting into, but I can't imagine Henley's extensive twitter presence is a pro when it comes to keeping him on the bag.
Havent had an opinion on Finau but now watched him with EAL and man he seemed super nice and a positive life force. Gonna root for him for sure. Dunno if he is mentally toughest so who knows if can start winning regularly but heres hoping.
The Masters continuing to innovate. That's a far cry from the standard CBS bs of showing a shot every 10 minutes and filling the rest with commercials and puff pieces.
Is Phil using a longer driver this week? I thought I'd read he was, but only saw about five minutes of yesterdays coverage ... which coincidentally was lolPhil dumping it in a pond off the tee.

Yes, he said he will be using a driver with a 47.5" shaft.
