With Davis Love III gone from CBS they have added Kelly Tilghman to next weeks broadcast. Always thought she was good on the Golf Channel

+1. A real professional.

Watching yesterday's coverage, looks to me like Young Rickie is finally getting comfortable with the swing changes.

5-way tie at the top at -11. These. Guys. Are. Good.

Rickie +1 today, regular as clockwork

Why can't I see any drives? CBS blows at showing drives. Only one I saw of Brooks was his near water ball, but we won't ever see his 330 yard down the middle of the fairway.

What is Koepka doing

Lol Brooks nice tee shot

Brooks made those two 6's on purpose, he doesn't want to win unless its a major.

I'm so glad ESPN picked up the TNT version of the PGA Championship coverage here in the U.S. It should be a marked improvement. FWIW, here's the wall-to-wall coverage they're providing:

What do we think explains this? Today's ELITE players are just more clutch?

Without giving it much consideration, how about -- longer course setups in general paring down the number of contenders for either top 50 status or to win a major?

Have the ranking calculations and the list of who gets in majors changed? Maybe more of the top 50 are in the field? I know way back in the day a lot of the top Euro's couldn't even get into the Masters.

Jim Furyk, Mike Weir, Retief Goosen and Ernie Els all are now playing the Champions Tour.

I feel old. Mike Weir is 50?

Well played by Ben Curtis.

This week I think the probability of a winner coming from outside the top 50 is about 0.0.

ESPN/ESPN+ >>>>> TNT

I'm really enjoying David Duval on the play-by-play.

YOUNG RICKIE sporting the porn stash for this year's first major.

Isn't it time anyway that Day won another major?

Absolutely not. He'll probably withdraw due to a hangnail by the weekend anyway. If we must have an Aussie winner I'll take Adam Scott.

So from 2016-2018, Brendan Todd made 4 cuts total, out of 41 starts. In 2018 his ranking was all the way down to #2,043 in the world.

Pretty wild to see this guy at the top of another leaderboard. Quite a comeback. Even more amazing because none of his stats are very good. One of the shortest hitters on tour, tee to green numbers all pretty mediocre. But the guy hits fairways and can putt.

I think it goes to show what a fine line there is between winning and being back of the pack at the highest levels.

ESPN consistently bad at golf. Not sure who this primary play by play announcer is, but he's terrible.

Recently watched golf for the first time, found it's best done on mute with an audiobook or podcast playing instead
