How is Patton Kizzire still 2nd in the FedEx Cup standings? Haven't seen him hit a shot in the last four months

I get that they're trying to add something different, but is there a person on the planet who cares about this Zurich team event? TV ratings have to be microscopic.

I would if the field wasn't a joke

I like the idea. It also appears that the players love it so there is something to that.

the field is fine. It has 4 of the top 5 in the world and 10 of the top 15. That's on par with basically any non-major/WGC/players/playoff event you can think of.

it really hurt that the following players missed the cut by a stroke: JT, #GOATSPEETH, little b!tch El Nino (and Rahm missed by 2 strokes).

What happened to Smylie Kaufman? Considered one of the up-and-comers a year ago, seems to have completely lost it.

Some good names in the field this week but the top of the leaderboard is not very exciting right now to say the least.

His game has fallen off the face of the earth, some of his recent scores are Bowditch-like (+23, +14, +13 in 2 rounds). Another last-place finish shaping up this week.

Big putt to make the cut... you never know with the lead at -6.

don't think he was ever talked about being a "great one". yeah he won the 2016 season Shriners which had a SOF of 244. meh. a solid enough 2016, but 1 for 5 in making cuts in majors lifetime.

you're right tho that 2017 and 2018 have not been nice to him. after today, will have missed the cut in all but 3 tourneys after 17 starts.

Bigger impact on popularity of PGA Tour:

-Tiger winning a major within next 3 years;
-full-on legalized gambling on all PGA Tour events in USA starting sometime this year.

i'll go with legalized gambling, but beginning this year isn't even a possibility ... is it?

my friend works for the Tour (on their ShotLink program) and the Tour has been taking steps to get ready for legalized gambling for over two years.

DFS golf already popular, I'm not sure how much regular wagering would have an impact. I'd say Tiger winning would be a much bigger deal.

What the hell is Phil wearing today

It looks like he got out of Billy Walters’ parole hearing and made it to the course two minutes before tee time
