You should see it on Sportscenter.

Hit an approach shot (maybe a par 3 tee shot, I was only half watching) that was slated to land about 8-10 feet from the hole, if not for the fact that it landed on Webb Simpson's ball and ricocheted into the bunker.

Event is like 1000% more legit because he is calling it.

Saw a stat on day 1 that this course had the second lowest % of fairways hit last year, barely ahead of Olympic. Must be all the doglegs.

Leaderboard is pretty horrific for sponsors hoping for some big names to contend.

I'd say this is a great leaderboard for sponsors, you have two rookies leading going into today and tons of low scores. Especially with this being the last year for stories like Langley making it straight to the tour from no status. The Sony doesnt really draw lots of big names in general like Farmers, AT&T or Riviera for early season events.

Gonna be watching closely.. local guy (Brian Stuard) is T10 going into today, he's on his 2nd stint on tour. Super nice guy, seems to be playing well lately

CH3 has to be among the biggest unfulfilled talents in the history of the tour. I guess some of it is his own doing because of all the tinkering but in any event it's a shame, he seems like a really nice guy.

Had a power outage for a couple of hours and missed this crazy hot run by Henley, which overshadowed a similar run by Clark.

None as of now. Maybe some this summer, it's going to be tough to play others aside from college events and the masters this semester due to the amount of class I'm already missing. I would have tried for Torrey pines, but it is during the first week of class and I'd likely get dropped from some classes being gone and be screwed. And riviera is a smaller field as well as Phoenix. Phoenix falls on a team tournament and ill be missing a couple already. Hopefully this summer ill get some.

Looks like he finished well and got T-5
