As for the broadcast, the side-by-side shot to show the player's reaction isn't nearly as interesting as the CBS production crew seems to think it is. It's not an annoyance or anything but I don't see it lasting particularly long, or at least not used as frequently.
Had a great time at Riviera today and its nice to have an excuse to play at Commerce for a couple days.
A chance a former client may be able to get me on Monday or Tuesday.
Anyone have experience with playing a tour course immediately after the event?
I have played Riviera right after this tournament, and played it during the year. To me there doesn't see to be a whole lot of difference. The greens are always fast, there is always low amount of rounds.
Not sure how they are measuring the tee shots on 11, but it's funny seeing these guys hit 240 yards drives that go 330. I actually think whatever they are using is off and they're carrying it 260-270, but either way it should open some eyes.
